2019

April 2019
April 21st - 30th
- The first wave of sinners arrived.
- The hotel was outfitted with elevators that didn't quite function, causing various occupants to be trapped for an unspecified amount of time.
- Sinners were locked in a room and forced to carve sins into each other.
- Sinners were asked to do one good deed for someone else.
- The hotel bar was home to a wild party that included drugs, alcohol, and plenty of opportunities to sin.
- The sex club was opened near the hotel.

May 2019
May 7th
- The first wave of sinners were given temporary rooming assignments.
May 10th - 23rd
- While the elevators were finally made functional, the hotel was overrun by flesh-eating insects that occupants had to either suffer through, attempt to remove, or flee the hotel to get away.
- Lucifer requested that the occupants tend to his hell beasts to show compassion for other living lives.
- A library was open with an expansive section for the occult and various types of witchcraft.
- Guests were given a taste of wrath at the bar, leading to multiple fights to break out and/or inciting them to torture one another.
- Incubi and succubi flooded the hotel in search of food, causing guests to give into their base desires for sex.
- As an apology for the above infiltration, a rave at the sex club was held that promoted dancing, drugs, and having a generally fun time. There were also drinks offered that led to random sexual encounters of varying intensity.
May 24th - 31st
- A second wave of guests arrived.
- Demons started to put sinners to work in an upcoming carnival that they all seemed rather excited about.
- Sinners were also locked in a room and forced to share/live each other's memories. This resulted in a sharing of physical wounds and emotions.
- After that, Lucifer asked them to pay one genuine compliment to another person to show an effort to change.
- A tiny mischief-making demon approached sinners and encouraged them to lead another astray for a chance at a favor from Lucifer.

June 2019
June 1st
- Permanent rooming assignments for the first wave of guests were given.
June 7th
- Temporary rooming assignments were handed out for the new sinners.
June 10th - 23rd
- The carnival started. There were rides, games, and sinner-run booths. Guests of the hotel were given tokens to enjoy the festivities. There were also adult activities in the form of sex machines, the ability to purchase toys, etc.
- There was one ride where sinners were forced to relive horrible memories and their worst fear in the form of animatronics. These were all made through experiments of the memory sharing potion guests were made to take the previous month.
- Towards the second week of the carnival, sinners began to disappear.
- On the last day of the carnival, all the sinners who disappeared were revealed to have been kidnapped by demons and clowns to put on a show for the demons of hell. Some had already been kept in isolation and tortured before brought on stage.
- Lucifer announced that this was the grand punishment and that all sinners on stage would be losing a limb in relation to a sin they had committed. He neglected to mention that all severed limbs would be returned the next day. All guests with special abilities found them deactivated until the next day.
- Sinners were given a chance to either buy someone's freedom, trade places with someone on stage, offer up an unrelated person for torture in exchange, or join in on the torture.
June 24th
- A wave of new guests will arrive.

July 2019
July 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
July 9th - 23rd
- There was a gala to commemorate the reopening of the maze. Guests dressed up in formal attire and were treated to a good meal. Self-immolating maps were handed out at the gala.
- Before attempting the maze, some received photos from Lucifer of a special plant found only within the maze. Those who brought Lucifer these plants received small rewards.
- Guests were then ushered into the maze the next day. There were demons, traps, ghosts, oh my.
- Those who completed the maze and managed to find the centre found treasure and gold.
July 24th - 31st
- A storm knocks out the power in the hotel. Goblin-like demons have accidentally let the Coal Tars escape. The basement is slightly flooded.
- Guests who ventured into the basement found boxes of assorted things and also a dungeon with demons chained to the walls. Even if guests helped them escape, these demons met an untimely end upon reaching the hotel lobby.
- Guests could also capture Coal Tars and bring them to the front desk for a small reward. While relatively harmless, breathing them in could cause irreversible lung damage.
- First whispers of the Veiled Order.

August 2019
August 1st - 7th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
August 8th - 22nd
- The annual trek of Mares, a type of nightmare-inducing demon, begin. Guests and demon staff board up doors and windows, remove doorknobs. Hellbeasts are brought in from outside, which guests have the option of assisting with looking after, and other demons are also temporarily weathering out the Mares in the hotel.
- The next day there is a loud bang as the front door is blown open. Rumours spread about sabotage and the Veiled Order. Several boards are pulled down and despite their best efforts, the Mares descend upon the hotel like a swarm of locusts.
- Guests endure a week of terrible nightmares and some are driven crazy. It is said that there is no way of curing or stopping the Mares' effect on people, until the succubi invite guests to try a new drug, Frenzy.
- The Cabeswater forest is dreamed into reality by Joseph Kavinsky and Ronan Lynch as a result of the Mares, located just outside the gates of the Penance community.
August 23rd - 31st
- After the Mares leave, the hotel is left in a state of disrepair. Guests and demons band together to fix it back up.
- A movie theatre has sprung up a short walk away from the hotel.
- Mysterious hooded figures drift around the hotel. They cause people to feel envious, angry and possibly violent.
- The Veiled Order abduct a few guests and torture them. Eventually they are made into blood sacrifices, hung over a pit with hooks and made to bleed. However, they do not bleed out, and they suffer for days.

September 2019
September 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
September 9th - 22nd
- Lucifer mobilises demons and hotel guests to rescue the abductees.
- A celebratory dinner commemorates their success once everyone recovers from the ordeal
- Some guests are subject to a pain-inducing truth potion.
- A feel good drug being handed out at the sex club has varying effects, encouraging guests to be intimate, share a vision of a perfect life together, and/or allows guests to share traumatic memories but with altered, happier endings.
September 23rd - 30th
- The weather turns cold and the heating is not working correctly. The temperature inside the hotel alternates between too hot and too cold.
- Guests are offered the chance to help out with gathering flowers and berries, working for the sex club, or looking for a goblin's missing Squonk.
- Everything becomes pumpkin spice flavoured, even things that should not be pumpkin spice flavoured.

October 2019
October 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
October 9th - 22nd
- Mysterious puzzle boxes start popping up all over the hotel, compelling the guests to pick them up and solve them. Doing this released Cenobites through the hotel. They may turn hotel guests into Cenobites.
- Those who did not solve a puzzle box may have heard voices that compelled them to hurt themselves.
- Guests have the option of trick (consume mystery candies that have varying effects e.g. truth serum, love potion, aphro, physical change) or treat (treat each other nicely).
- Guests are given the option to play deal or no deal. If they give the name of another sinner, they can have one sin taken off their list and put on someone else's list. They will also get a prize, and the nominated sinner will not find out who did this to them.
October 23rd - 31st
- The weather turns even colder and extra blankets are handed out to guests.
- Hotel staff are busy prepping for Halloween and guests are roped in to help carve pumpkins. Haunted tours through some part of the Penance community are also offered during this time.
- Sinners may find themselves in various configurations of torture, involving sticking their hands inside a box full of sharp objects, chained to a room with an axe and having to cut off a limb, or sticking their hand into a bowl of acid to retrieve a key to help another sinner out.
- A costume party starts to go a little wrong when some guests start turning into the creature or type of person of the Halloween costume they put on.

November 2019
November 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
November 10th - 22nd
- Once Halloween is over, horribly repetitive and awful Christmas songs flood the hotel's common areas.
- Guests may have found themselves particularly susceptible to gluttonous urges, or intense pangs of greed, envy, jealousy.
- A dining hall is opened for guests to indulge in gluttony, and guests may continue eating until they're very sick. The food starts to rot towards the end of the month but guests still feel compelled to eat.
- Pairs of guests may take a potion that will send them into a highly sexualised fantasy world where they won't remember their lives and believe that what is essentially the porno they're acting in is real.
November 23rd - 30th
- The heating was finally fixed!
- There is a food shortage due to the rot that has consumed the feast.
- Somehow, the Christmas songs get worse.
- There is a lingerie party at the sex club.

December 2019
December 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
December 10th - 19th
- The hotel is decorated with Christmas decorations.
- The hotel shop has been restocked with nice items for guests themselves or to be given to others.
- Kallikantzaroi have escaped and are causing a nuisance, stealing presents, gnawing on cables, etc. Anyone who helps capture or kill them receives a gold token with Lucifer's face on one side with no monetary value.
- There is kissing under the mistletoe, eggnog, and other Christmas-themed activities.
- Krampus-like demons have invaded the sex club.
- A small illegal gathering takes place in the Warehouse for those guests not so keen on the festivities or are all Christmased out. The demons throw a bit of a party of their own. They also try to convince guests to offer their blood to try and summon Lilith, maybe cut a deal with her to escape Hell.
- Of course, they don't have the power to do that. But Lilith will show up anyway, the following month.
December 20th - 31st
- After the holiday festivities have come and gone, all decorations are removed and everything is scrubbed clean. There is no porn, alcohol or drugs, not even in amongst guests' private stashes. A ball drop is set up outside the hotel to usher in the new year.
- There is a small amount of alcohol and drugs left in the warehouse. Eventually this gathering/party is forcibly dispersed as well.
- Guests reflect on what they've done over the past year and what they're looking forward to in the new year.

2020

January 2020
January 7th - 10th
- One of the sinners made a deal to run Hell for a day, and used this as a chance to put together a group intending to gain freedom by blowing up Hell
- This was used as a diversion to hunt through Lucifer’s office and obtain information, meanwhile, other sinners set bombs
- There was building damage and a few deaths
- Lilith joined to take over for Lucifer for a bit, and get things back under control in Hell
January 24th - 31st
- The sinners, new and old alike, were forced and coerced to help rebuild the hotel and surrounding buildings
- Since was club was blown up, the succubi and incubi had to live in the hotel; starved for sexual energy they enticed and spelled the sinners to feed them, either with them, or each other
- Another sinner tried to use a spell to cut out of Hell into another dimension, only to bring in monsters and create a magical bubble that caused others passing too close to change

February 2020
February 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
February 9th - 22nd
- Words appeared on sinners heads, telling everyone else their insecurities and flaws and what makes them a bad partner
- Sinners were forced to dress up and attend a dinner for Lucifer’s sake
- Fights due to irrational anger, bouts of jealousy and other drug induced negative emotions occurred toward the end of the evening
February 23rd - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- The incubi and succubi set up a makeshift club in the hotel and lured sinners in
- They caused illusions that led to some mistakes and misunderstandings

March 2020
March 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
March 9th - 22nd
- As punishment for the bombing of the hotel, some of the sinners of Hell are forced to experience demon conditioning in a new neighborhood called Hellburbia
- Anyone who veered from the path set out for them was punished
- Anyone who started to remember the truth and speak out was punished, possibly even executed
- Meanwhile, back at the hotel, there were whispers of the Veiled Order, people in robes and the other sinners experience some unwelcome gifts by the gate
March 23rd - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- Club Penance reopens after being rebuilt

April 2020
April 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
April 10th - 23rd
- God still sought to punish everyone for the bombing event
- This comes in a form of a thick liquid that dripped on the sinners in the night and disturbs their rest
- Soon after sinners start having trouble sleeping and start having hallucinations, hearing voices
- Some sinners see themselves rotting if they have died before
- Touching others helps lessen the effects, but that can cause the sinners to hear each other's thoughts
- Everything slows down after a couple of weeks
April 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- A new location opened up with an indoor pool, no gimmicks, just water to swim in
- Lilith asked for ingredients to put together a spell to get insight for the Veiled Order’s intentions

May 2020
May 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
May 9th - 23rd
- Lucifer leaves a way for sinners to contact God, but God never responds to any of them
- A new location pops up, Mercy Hospital
- Nurses come from the hospital and lure sinners away for a mental health check
- While in Mercy sinners get put through chambers that make them relive their worst moments, group therapy, and drug cocktails that leave them nearly catatonic
- A thick fog surrounds the hospital, hiding monsters that make it difficult for any sinners that want to rescue the other sinners difficult
- At night, the nurses reveal another form while strange sounds can be heard through the hallways
May 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived and were processed
- Time to get ready for the carnival again
Whispers float around of the names Bellas, Mammon and Verinne amongst the demons
- The demons force sinners into helping the set up
- The maze of mirrors calls sinners to it and if they enter, they will change to their darkest nature and wish to tell everyone
- Something from the fog affects the sinners and they are drawn to the club
- Those that enter experience monstrous transformations

June 2020
June 1st-9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
June 10th - 23rd
- The carnival returned for a second time. Guests were given tokens to enjoy themselves
- It seemed harmless enough with booths, food and rides
- Sinners started to disappear and were put into cages, kept on display in a petting zoo and forced to perform for the visitors
- A few sinners attempted a rebellion, and some attempted to free the other sinners, this ended in those sinners in cages, or experiencing special punishments for their involvement
June 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived
- The electricity was out due to the violence at the carnival, and the demons go on strike meaning the sinners have to do all of the clean up and upkeep the hotel on their own
- Dolls popped up all over the hotel

July 2020
July 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
July 10th
- Lucifer, currently not present at the hotel as he is looking into help with the Veiled Order, leaves a note warning the sinners to lead and treat the dolls around the hotel with respect
- Some of the dolls were fairly harmless, some of them, however started to attack sinners and other dolls
- If sinners hurt the dolls, they would be injured themselves. Playing with them or being kind them would result in safety and the demons doing chores for them
- There was also a peddler with dolls that look like the sinners, and did work like voodoo dolls, allowing sinners to mess with other sinners through those dolls
- There were whispers of a breach at the gate, the electricity went out, and the sinners were rounded up by Lilith into the main lobby for a big sleepover as a distraction
July 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- Monsters and a demonic giant broke through the gate to start attacking the Penance
- In the midst of this battle, Lucifer returned and put a stop to it
- Sinners are still having to do a lot of their own chores, and hate to start hunting beasts for their food

August 2020
August 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming
August 10th - 23rd
- A new structure was introduced, a large arena, suggested by one of the sinners - Squalo Superbia
- Throughout the night, sinners were pitted against each other and forced to fight, or they could agree to fight each other if they preferred
- Sucubi and incubi passed out drugs that drove some of the sinners into a murderous frenzy resulting in deaths of some of the combatants
- There were also contests for others to participate in
- After, some sinners followed an invitation from the Veiled Order to attend a meeting
- Sinners that attended were forced to drink a concoction from the Order. Some saw visions, some chanted and made chimeras with the Order, some became violent
August 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived during the annual trek of the Mares through Penance
- Lucifer and Lilith attempted a solution to the suffering of the Mares by getting the sinners into the Club Penance, using drugs to negate some of the effects while they waited out the event

September 2020
September 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
September 10th - 23rd
- For some this month was a little more laid back than usual
- First sinners were lethargic after the Mare visit, then some started to feel euphoric, willing to help out more around the hotel
- Those they didn’t partake in the Veiled Order’s meeting were filled with excitement and daring to do things they normally wouldn’t
- There was even a chance to get pampered at the spa, watch more popular movies, and otherwise have a calm month
- Lucifer sent out a message in relation to some of the things the sinners might have seen at the gathering of the Veiled Order they attended.
- Except for some; later in the month, the Veiled Order sent out instructions to those that attended their meeting. Those that failed the test were marked. Those that passed, moved on to the next level
September 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived arrived just in time for bitter cold and pumpkin spice
- Also, ghosts inhabit the hotel haunting sinners, leaving messages to them through seances or Ouija boards

October 2020
October 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
October 10th - 23rd
- A couple of new attractions were introduced
- A 3D movie theater and fun house
- Of course, the movie theater had the potential to showcase real projections, so a horror movie could actually harm a sinner, and porno could give the sinner a fun time, and the fun house played embarrassing moments or misdeeds of the sinners
- The ghosts that had started popping up the month prior start to take possession of the sinners
- In some cases, the flesh of a possessed sinner would start to rot away the longer the ghost remained, and the ghost would need to find a new vessel
- Lucifer reveals these specific spirits are the spirits of ones too depraved to even become demons, ones that betrayed Lucifer to Asmodeus in the past
- The spirits were rounded up into items, and sinners were given items to take into the maze and leave there to get the ghost out of the hotel
- In the middle of all of this, one of the sinners had a mental break
- The area around this sinner changed to affect some of the sinners that entered
- Affected sinners were altered into different versions of themselves, some were physical changes into more demonic versions of themselves.
- Some of the sinners backed the reality warper in an attempt to overthrow Lucifer
- All of this came to an end with Lucifer marching in and taking down the revolt
- The sinner responsible was punished and put into Mercy Hospital
October 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- A new area of torture rooms opened up with an ominous rumble
- If a sinner entered any of these rooms, they would find themselves suspended between chains held by demons. Another sinner would have to torture the individual based on their sins, to the level the demons were content, in order to free the sinner. If they failed this, the sinner would torn apart
- Dressing up and a version of trick-or-treating was heavily encouraged (in some cases, people were forcefully dressed)

November 2020
November 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
November 10th - 23rd
- Disappointed and angered, God decided to punish the sinners a little more than usual
- First, the cold become unbearable and blood snowed down all over the Penance community
- Next, there was an earthquake that took out the power and allowed hellfire to spit up from the ground
- For a while, as sinners approach each other, they would start to see each other’s worst memories play out in front of them both
- Eventually, the power came back, and the memory exchange ceased
- Just for the Veiled Order to call on those it had marked
- Some of the sinners, the ones that failed their first test, and some that were marked without reason, were lured into danger by a call only they could hear, and sinners had to look after the marked ones and keep them safe until the lure passed
- Some that passed the first trial were given a new one - release the marked ones
November 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived just as things calmed down a bit, maybe too much, as there were whispers around about blocking out God
- The usual mistletoe showed up around the hotel, prompting sinners to kiss each other, forcefully, and other holiday activities and festive decorations showed around the hotel

December 2020
December 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
December 10th - 23rd
- The cold weather persisted, getting even colder
- Snowmen started to appear around the outside of the hotel
- Then miniature ones appeared that started to eat their larger brethren, then the denizens of Hell causing everyone to get locked inside for their safety
- A gift shop appeared, allowing sinners to buy gifts for each other
- Some sinners felt compelled to be stingy, envious, possessive, this affected sinners both in a platonic and sexual way, resulting in them keeping things, or people, and fights amongst each other
December 24th - 31st
- There were no new sinners this month, and no punishments
- Instead there were games, and celebration outfits left in sinners’ rooms
- Sinners were encouraged to celebrate the end of the year, heavily
- A head with a hood attached was used in place of a ball drop to signal the new year, and sinners found themselves drawn to each other to kiss, whether close or strangers

2021

January 2021
January 1st - 9th
- There were no new sinners to process
- But Lucifer prepared a spell that blinded some of the sinners
- The spell’s intent? To keep out God
January 10th - 23rd
- The weather got a little warmer
- A coffee shop opened up
- And a luxurious Casino, complete with gambling, chances to win sins off the sinners list, risk taking on more, or gamble bits of the sinners soul, body parts, and even a chance to win back abilities sinners weren’t allowed in the hotel
- With the opening of Casino Styx, sinners ended up in unexpected marriages after consuming chocolates
- Beyond the shiny distraction, there were rumblings in the distance, and extra guards on staff
- Lucifer also collected sinners to clear out a panic room in the basement
January 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived with a strange fluctuation of the hotel changing to castle of skulls for a brief moment, and sinners, demons new and old alike found themselves at different points in their life
- It is whispered Lilith is injured and Lucifer is missing
- For a bit, sinners might intend to go to one room, but found themselves in another

February 2021
February 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
- Barbas announced on the network he was taking over and Lucifer and Lilith were under lockdown
- He made a lot of other threatening promises that were soon to go into effect
February 9th - 23rd
- New suites were added to accommodate the married couples as Barbas forced married couples (even those that wanted to annul their marriages) to move into together and uphold their vows
- Strict rules of when to eat were enforced, as well as the closure of a lot of establishments in Penance except for those approved
- Guards now carry canes and whips and punish sinners and succubi and incubi on the spot for transgressions
- Some of the sinners got together in an attempt to take Barbas down in a rebellion, which, unfortunately, backfired
- They did succeed in freeing Lilith and hiding her from Barbas
- Sinners involved were punished in various forms while everyone else was punished
- The hotel was transformed into a boarding school, and sinners were put into two possible uncomfortable uniforms to go with it
- School schedules were established, as well as beatings for minor offences
- Some of the “students” found themselves conforming mentally and falling into line, even disciplining their fellow sinners
February 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived just as the denizens were released from the boarding school
- Paintings were erected around the hotel that gave sinners headaches if they looked too long
- Bathrooms in the temporary rooms were removed and replaced with a communal bathing area
- The usual torture to remove sins was replaced with a far harsher expectation of removing a limb, then enduring as it grew back over two days
- Sleeplessness and nightmares plagued the sinners, playing the worst memories on repeat, and the only way to lessen them was to talk about them and physical comfort
- The succubi and incubi get desperate and start cornering sinners
- Some set up a secret party club. Anyone who got caught attending was punished

March 2021
March 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
- Sinners were allowed to visit Lucifer
March 10th - 23rd
- Barbas set up a final dinner for Lucifer that sinners were forced to attend
- What he didn’t tell the sinners is that he laced the food with Lucifer’s blood
- This caused a frenzy from the sinners who started to crave more of the blood, or desired to fight each other on the spot, or were sexually driven to copulate in the moment
- This dinner, however, gave Lucifer a chance to send some of the sinners images and information on how to get him free before Mammon could make good on his promise to dump Lucifer in the bottom of a lake of fire forever
March 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived as a heat wave settled into Hell
- Club Penance was allowed to reopen under limited capacity and a new theme of modest lingerie
- To help with all of the negative energy in the air, some of the demons and sinners open an underground fighting ring
- Some of the tainted food was still in circulation causing effects of euphoria, ability to see auras, and migraines in those that ate it

April 2021
April 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
April 10th - 23rd
- With the threat of Hellburbia 2.0 looming over them, and Lucifer’s imprisonment at the bottom of a fiery lake, the demons and sinners alike start planning with the information Lucifer gave them
- The demons loyal to Lucifer mess up the water, network and electricity causing Barbas to get distracted
- Lilith, with help from the sinners, put together a message to send out to Mammon, a demon friendly to Lucifer
- Some of the sinners stayed behind to fight a battle that meant their death while others were sent off to Mammon’s land to talk him into providing them with help to return and fight Barbas and free Lucifer
- Other sinners didn’t fight or leave to brave the trip, and were protected in the safe room
- Mammon agreed to help and returned with everyone to battle Barbas and free Lucifer
- After everything, Lucifer needed time to rest. He was able to return the sacrificed sinners to life, but with Penance in shambles the sinners rested in tents and some of the houses still standing in Hellburbia
April 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived amongst the mess the hotel was left in
- To give Lucifer time to restore Penance, the sinners are to return with Mammon, to be kept safe in his domain until they can return
- They were given a lavish boat full of indulgences to make the two week trek on

May 2021
May 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments (on the boat)
May 10th - 23rd
- The sinners dock in Mammon’s land
- The castle has communal bathing areas, the floor plan allows them to say in similar rooming arrangements as back in the Penance hotel
- Barbas was housed in a prison area and guarded
- The sinners were allowed to travel around Mammon’s land and experience the library, shops, pet shops with dragons and other animals
- Some of Barbas experiments were accidentally freed, those experiments being dragons
- Small dragons make off with trinkets and belongings, but the larger dragons take some shiny people that appeal to them

- New sinners arrived and found themselves in the middle of a vacation from the usual Hell
- Chimeras, and other genetically altered animals escaped from Mammon’s castle, as well as dragons from the pet store - rounding these creatures up allowed the sinners to work off sins while in Mammon’s land
- Some sinners might have experienced spiked drinks causing them to grow animals parts and a need to mate
- Other sinners learned they were starting to enjoy pain (thanks to the cider in Mammon’s land)
- Other sinners headed out to track down sinners taken previously by the dragons to rescue them

June 2021
June 1st-9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments (in Mammon’s castle)
June 10th - 23rd
- The carnival returned for a third time, even in Mammon’s land. Guests were given tokens to enjoy themselves
- Sinners again disappeared and showed up later as hybrids, mixed with animal features and parts, as well lost memories, and performed at the carnival
June 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived amidst a magical disturbance (of the twisted fairy tale variety)
- Some sinners were forced to marry at a ball held by Mammon

July 2021
July 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
July 10th - 23rd
- Two boats left Mammon’s island, one returning sinners to Penance hotel and one taking - other’s on a mission for Lucifer, headed by Lilith
- The boat on a mission ran aground on a stranded island, one the Veiled Order used to frequent
- The Veiled Order torments and chases the stranded sinners down
Random sinners were taken
- Back at the hotel, sinners helped rebuild the hotel and other locations
- The sinners taken by the Veiled Order were tortured, then left in a pile
- The tortured sinners were picked up by a rescue crew headed by Lucifer and returned to the hotel
July 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- The Veiled Order victims return just in time to suffer through a massive heat wave hitting Penance
- There was addition - an ice cream truck driving around the grounds to hand out ice cream and ice pops (some of them caused side-effects)

August 2021
August 1st - 9th
New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
August 10th - 23rd
- In preparation for the annual Mares, Lucifer rounded up every for a stay in Mercy hospital
- There were still living and waking nightmares, only the sinners were bereft of their powers to deal with them
- Some sinners escaped the round up and stayed back to experience the full force of the Mares
- At the end, Lucifer makes a deal with God to raise the barrier spell he has had over - - Penance, as long as God calls the Mares back
- Lucifer and Death took care of the remainder and everyone returns to the hotel
August 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- Club Penance reopened
- There are whispers of why Lucifer wasn’t around, and talk of making deals with God

September 2021
September 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
September 10th - 23rd
- Sinners that failed their tests with the Veiled Order were turned into ghosts with a spell
- Another spell hit the torture victims from the island turning them into zombies
- Lilith had sinners gather herbs to help the zombie victims
- Lilith also held a séance to bring back the bodies of the ghost victims
- For others, there was a pumpkin patch, complete with scarecrows, to protect from smashing pumpkin goblins and other fall activities (such as pumpkin carving)
September 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived
- Spiders and other Halloween decorations appeared around the hotel
- Lucifer is still missing

October 2021
October 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
October 10th - 23rd
- Followed by a warning post from Lilith telling the sinners to get to Hellburbia, and fast, a fog rolled into the hotel
- Sinners caught in the fog experienced tortures and death from monsters in the fog, and some of the sinners became monsters
- Sinners in Hellburbia tried to come up with plans to save the others and plead with God, to no avail
- After two weeks, the fog cleared
October 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- There was a party for sinners and demons alike after a maze of corn, complete with costumes, pumpkins to carve, candied apples to consume, and drinks to be had
- Lucifer is still missing and whispers of Barbas are in the air

November 2021
November 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
November 10th - 23rd
- Lucifer returns, but he is not the only one.
- Barbas also returns to Penance, escorted by Emmanuel, Lucifer's brother
- For a couple of weeks, Lucifer hosts parties and dinners at his island and opens his home to the sinners
November 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived
- Sinners were given the chance to chase down demon turkeys and either turn them in to the hotel demons, or keep them if they bonded with the turkey
- Barbas started constructing a school in Hellburbia and sprucing up the neighborhood. Nothing can go wrong there, right?

December 2021
December 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
December 10th - 23rd
- Barbas finished construction on the new school and other additions to Hellburbia and invited the sinners to the re-opening of the Hellburbia commons
- This invitation ended with some sinners moving into Hellburbia and splitting into families, once again believing themselves demons living a peaceful life, forgetting about their current life in the hotel
- Unlike usual, this latest affliction did not cease after two weeks
December 24th - 31st
- This year, in Lucifer's stead, Emmanuel offered gifts to the sinners, meanwhile Barbas encouraged Hellburbians to share their happiness and wonderful life with the sinners on the other side
- Mammon held an end of the year dance for the Hellburbians while the sinners back at the hotel suffered in the cold and limited food

2022

January 2022
January 1st - 9th
- There were no new sinners to process
January 10th - 23rd
- The sinners, with Lilith and Emmanuel, sneaked into Hellburbia to wake up as many sinners, and demons, as they could and bring them back to the hotel
- Some were lured back into Hellburbia due to the worn down state of the hotel
- Upset at the loss, Barbas closed down Hellburbia and only allowed Hellburbians out with passes
- A Beauty Pageant was held
- Some Hellburbians gave birth to demons
January 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived amidst the confusion of some sinners living in Hellburbia with different lives, and others in the hotel slumming it
- Emmanuel did get Lucifer free, and was helping him recover
- Lilith and the demons greet the new comers with warm clothes and blankets and with Lucifer back in the hotel things are starting to turn around, but slowly
- It's rumored Emmanuel and Lilith have a plan, but details are not yet known
- Sinners were encouraged to donate blood
- The winners of the Beauty Pageant were announced and told to be married to Mammon

February 2022
February 1st - 8th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
February 9th - 23rd
- Emmanuel sacrificed himself to rain his blood down on the still brainwashed sinners left in Hellburbia
- All sinners returned to themselves
- Barbas was captured and held in Lucifer's old Hellburbia house as captive
- Sinners whose homes were in Hellburbia could no longer live there due to the flooding and mess from the blood rain
- The succubi and incubi from the club find themselves starving over the past couple of months
- Mammon sets in motion auctions of the sinners which help feed the succubi and incubi
February 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived amidst horse riding lessons and the development of spring
- Everyone was encouraged to clean up the bloody mess left from the blood rain and flooding in Hellburbia
- As Mammon's antics have been helping Lilith's children, she allows for Mammon to continue pushing the auctions well into the end of the month

March 2022
March 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
March 10th - 23rd
- Dreq, a dragon demon that followed Mammon to Penance to harass him, brought dragons for adoption
- Mammon's Park in Hellburbia started putting out pollen that affected sinners in different ways
- The Park had live music with the opening
- In an effort to find his brother, Lucifer and Lilith cast a spell to lead sinners to him, sending them out in different directions
- Emmanuel was not found, only items or people that affected his life on Earth, showing the spell led to anything his blood or DNA ever touched
March 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived as the pollen continued to affect sinners
- A caravan showed up peddling charming odds and ends that promised to give sinners their greatest desires. Anyone who fell for that ended up with a twisted result.

April 2022
April 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
April 10th - 23rd
- Nurses and doctors in Mercy have slowly been upgraded and changed under Mammon's directive
- The altered nurses kidnapped sinners
- Sinners held in Mercy were also altered either physically or with drugs
- Lucifer gathered up the sinners left behind to help him infiltrate the hospital and get the other sinners out
April 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived as the carnival once again was being set up.
- Sinners were encouraged to help with set up, or trade lemonade for kisses

May 2022
May 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
May 10th - 23rd
- The Dark Carnival was once again celebrated, but this time with a slant to appeal to the sinners, instead of be used against them
- Angered by all of his children, their interference, not doing as asked, God sent a version of the Mares to disrupt the Dark Carnival, far earlier in the year than they usually appear
May 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived as Mammon flees from his father
- With Mammon's departure, some of the plants from the park started to act up
- Dark portents lingered in the air for the upcoming month

June 2022
June 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
June 10th - 23rd
- God, as foretold, took over Lucifer to deliver a statement over the network to the sinners
- Angered still, God called forth Biblical plagues to torment the sinners and demons of Penance with, including swarms of bugs, illness and mass death, as well as rotting food and liquids
June 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived as the punishments and tortures turned darker and lava loomed on the horizon

July 2022
July 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
July 10th - 23rd
- Chased out by the lava, the sinners were transported to Lucifer Island
- On the way to Lucifer's Island, sinners were captured by demons and put into stocks. Other sinners were encouraged to punish the captured sinners
- At the Island, sinners were able to meet with Lilith's original children
- The twins gave sinners with demon transformations glamors so they wouldn't have to look at them
- Under their influence, sinners ended up engaging in random sexual acts that could comfort and/or heal, out in the open
July 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived amidst reconstruction only to be moved to Lucifer island for the interim

August 2022
August 1st - 9th
New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
August 10th - 23rd
- The sinners return to the hotel to find it looked whole again, but some shops are closed up
- Along with the once again rebuilt hotel are upgraded televisions added to the rooms
- Perhaps the deal Lucifer got for said televisions was too good, as sinners find themselves trapped in said televisions
- Once trapped, a different version of the sinner trapped in the television took their place and acted out on feelings and actions the sinner kept in check
- Sinners were freed after a day
August 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- New and established sinners alike were encouraged to help with rebuilding
- Meanwhile, it's apparent the hotel is not entirely put together and the sinners might be seeing a glamor
- It's also confirmed the Veiled Order was behind the television situation

September 2022
September 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
September 10th - 23rd
- The Veiled Order made contact with the sinners
- In the process of trying to fix the duplicates and deal with the television issue, Lucifer drained his powers
- This led to sinners losing their memories or items, or body parts
- Some sinners gained extra parts
September 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived
- The cold persisted and got worse, despite that new birds showed up

October 2022
October 1st - 9th
New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
October 10th - 23rd
- There was some paranormal activity, and a slip of the magic holding the hotel together, giving sinners insight to the truth of the place they had been living in for the past couple of months
- The birds the demons warned the sinners against the previous month, became staples and claimed some of the sinners for their own companions, and some were claimed
- Sinners helped with some of the invading spirits
- Eventually spirits possessed the sinners in a ball, resulting the spirits sharing their experiences, or using the sinners to enjoy their time
- Everything results in Lucifer's magic wearing out and the hotel started to collapse. The sinners had to rush out for their lives, and get both Lucifer and Barbas to the boats that lead to Mammon's Land and get out of there to give Lucifer a rest, and give them some sort of shelter from the cold
October 24th - 31st
- New sinners arrived and were sent to the boat to join the sinners already on their way to Mammon's land.
- The cold got worse, causing even the ghosts in the sea of the damned to rise up onto the boat to join the sinners and seek their warmth.

November 2022
November 1st - 9th
New sinners were processed and provided with living arrangements on the boat
November 10th - 23rd
- The sinners docked in Mammon's land once more, allowed in for the items some of them gave to ensure everyone was allowed in
- Some sinners stayed in the castle, others stayed in cabins out by the forest.
- A handful of sinners were lured into the forest by a demon witch, to be rescued by a few
- The witch was captured
- Werewolves were loose in the area and turned some of the sinners, as well
November 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived in Mammon's land
- Some sinners were ensnared by mistletoe that floated after them, and others were put to sleep by it
- It was clear the usual holiday festivities are in the air as Lucifer oversees decorations

December 2022
December 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with rooming assignments in Mammon's castle
December 10th - 31st
- A statue of Mammon's was taken from his garden
- As a result, Mammon strengthened guard and sent out flyers looking for details about the missing statue
- Together, Mammon and Lucifer held an end of Year/Winter ball
- The ball was mostly peaceful, except for the end where both sides of the room switched from hot to cold and cold to hot, and an ice sculpture of Emmanuel melted and changed to another figure who promised to see everyone soon
- Soon after, some sinners found themselves waking up in strange places, and missing parts of their memories
- Some might hear a noise, a song, but they can't place it, and it seems to put them in a trance
- Mammon searched for his statue and sent out posters to the sinners to encourage them to help him find it
- Mammon hosted the dropping of the ball and rang in the new year

2023

January 2023
January 1st - 9th
- There were no new sinners to process
January 10th - 23rd
- Dreq went around freeing the animals, monsters and beasts Mammon has been running experiments on
- He roped in some sinners to even help him and they released new monsters and cuddly creatures into wild
- Mammon offered rewards to the sinners that either told on the people that helped
- Thanks to Dreq, murderous mermaids were released
- These mermaids started to sing sinners to their doom
- Other sinners had to help save them
January 24th - 31st
- A chance for redemption this month came in the form of sinner's beating hearts being given to another to decide if they were worthy of forgiveness and having their heart returned to them
- Mammon offered the sinners a chance to remove a sin if they helped round up his creatures
- Thanks to Dreq's actions previously, cherub-like fairies went around shooting people with arrows that caused some confusion amongst the sinners
- The demons also tried to play match-maker, just wanting the sinners to be happy

February 2023
February 1st - 8th
- It was very quiet, with no new sinners to process
February 10th - 22nd
- The demons still tried to encourage the sinners to pair up, this time with swan pedal boats they could take out onto a nearby lake, close to Mammon's castle
- Meanwhile, the Veiled Order slipped in during the night to affect the lake
- And they attempted to touch base with their double agent sinner
- Sinners who fell, or played in, the lake, turned into swans
- The only way to turn swans back was through kissing
February 24th - 28th
- The sinners returned to Penance
- There was the addition of a diner, mostly harmless want ads
- Lucifer and others noted the disappearance of some of their number

March 2023
March 1st - 9th
- There were no new sinners to process
- Some of the sinners turned swans were kidnapped and manhandled
March 10th - 23rd
- Lucifer shared the location of the missing Sinners-turned-swans and asked the other sinners to aid in their return
- Sinners found themselves in a farm with talking vegetables, twisted animals and demons growing produce on their own bodies
- There was a factory of dead bodies that might have familiar faces being processed into meat product
March 24th - 31st
- Missing his brother, Lucifer tried to force Easter onto everyone
- The demons didn't really get it and dressed up wrong, the candy was wrong, but the spirit was well intended!

April 2023
April 1st - 9th
- There were no new sinners to process, but a lot of old faces reappeared.
April 10th - 23rd
- There were odd network issues
- Emmanuel managed to get a message through, before the system went completely bad
- There are also tremors through Penance, but that's normal, right?
- One of sinners' requests went awry and an infestation of devourers ran amuck around Penance
- Sinners were asked to round up the menaces and move them to the stable
April 24th - 30th
- New arrivals showed up amidst random tremors
- Sinners were asked to pick up fallen items from the earthquakes
- Club Penance had an Apocalyptic Theme

May 2023
May 1st - 9th
- New sinners were processed and provided with temporary rooming assignments
May 10th - 23rd
- There was a violent earthquake that left sinners and demons alike scrambling not to fall into lava
- Asmodeus finally showed himself on the network after killing off Micaiah's sister
- Lucifer address everyone to make clear their options going forward
- Lilith put together a team to find her son
May 24th - 30th
- New sinners arrived
- Monsters started to pour up from Lower Hell
- Demons/monsters dragged off sinners to torture them

June
June 1st - 30th
- Lilith took volunteers to Lucifer Island to look for the other twin
- The Veiled Order spilled into Penance and took limbs and blood from the sinners they could get
- There were whispers and worry of Asmodeus' approach


July
July 1st - 31st
- Asmodeus arrived
- He killed the Veiled Order himself
- The ground parted and sinners fell into Lower Hell to either be damaged in the fall, or tortured down there if they didn't hide well enough
- Top side, Barbas took volunteers to head with him to Mammon's Land, and Lucifer took volunteers to go down to Lower Hell to find the others and rescue his brother, Emmanuel


August
August 1st - 31st
- When Barbas' group gets to Mammon's Land they find them under attack
- They had the choice to help in their efforts to convince Mammon to help, or ignore the violence
- The group that followed Lucifer had to play dangerous games and risk their lives to get to Emmanuel

September
September 1st - 30th
- At the end of the games, whomever is left needed to battle monsters small and the true Leviathan in order to rescue Emmanuel and get the Spear
- Once the group had the Spear, they returned topside to Penance to find it under attacked by God's angels
- Everyone from Mammon's land with Mammon and Barbas in tow showed up for the final showdown
- Even God showed up
- Once defeated, there was a party in Heaven where Lucifer took the throne as the new God, with his brother at his side - to keep him sane and company for eternity - and everyone was allowed to say their goodbyes and either stay in Penance or Heaven, return home (even if dead) or move on to another place with friends and lovers they met in the Afterlife. Even Lilith had a happy ending, reunited with her children in Heaven. The demons and angels face a future learning to live together, as rule in Heaven, Hell and Penance shifts.
