Canon Update
Please use the following form below for all canon updates. They become effective immediately with characters waking up from a pleasant night's sleep with new memories and potentially a changed appearance. If they ask, the demons around them will probably play dumb about any changes or shoo them off. They have more important things to handle.

Please be aware there is no waiting period for an update. There is also no approval needed for canon updates. You are good to go after viewing the material and the update is posted here. We only ask you mark all spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the material.

Update Info: I'm spoilering this for those who aren't caught up! Also he's gonna have some new sins appearing on his list, I'll hop over there to add them.
- After letting the mercenaries into Lalo's compound at his current canon point, Nacho runs through the night hearing the gunshots in the distance. At dawn he gets a call from Tyrus who tells him Lalo was killed in the siege (he wasn't) and Nacho needs to head north and stay hidden while in Salamanca territory. If he calls back in an hour they'll have a safehouse set up for him to lay low until extraction.
- Nacho makes it to the location, a sketchy hotel where the woman behind the desk silently hands him a room key. Inside he finds an envelope with a gun, extra ammo, and a good amount of cash. Calling Tyrus to confirm he made it, he's told to change into the clothes in the closet and wait there until a farm truck arrives to pick him up in a few days' time. After hanging up Nacho tries to call Mike next, but he doesn't answer.
- The next morning, a terrified Nacho hears footsteps outside. He takes cover and aims for the door, but after a quick knock the person leaves -- the motel owner has left food outside for him. As he watches the parking lot while eating, Nacho notices that there's a boarded-up shed nearby with an excellent view of his room. The air conditioner in one of the windows is dripping. Suspicious...
- When the next day's food delivery comes, Nacho peeks out the curtains as he opens the door and spots movement between the boards on one of the shed windows facing him. He retrieves the tray as if he doesn't suspect anything, then kicks out the air conditioner on the back wall of his room and jumps down on the other side of the hotel to circle around behind the shed, entering and holding the lookout there at gunpoint. The man claims he doesn't know who hired him to watch Nacho, but fearing that Gus is double crossing him (which he's already done, planting evidence that will lead the cartel to this location) Nacho calls Tyrus and puts on a frantic act, saying he's got a bad feeling and wants to make run for it, then turning off his phone. Sure enough the lookout's phone starts ringing a few moments later, confirming the danger. Nacho knocks the lookout unconscious and prepares to flee.
- While he's hot-wiring a pickup truck in the parking lot, the Cousins arrive with a team of cartel henchmen and they start searching for Nacho. Hiding in the truck's cab has him spotted quickly and Nacho is forced to kill that man, giving away his location. He does manage to escape a standoff with the Cousins in the pickup, but only because the Salamancas want him alive to question about the assault on Lalo's compound.
- The truck is pretty damaged in his escape and breaks down on a dirt road out in the desert. At first Nacho seems to be preparing for the confrontation, but then he spots an abandoned oil tanker in the distance and runs for that, hiding inside. When the Cousins and their crew find his vehicle they spread out to investigate and they do check the tanker, but Nacho holds his breath and carefully submerges himself in the shallow pool of oil remaining inside, escaping detection. He stays put until nightfall, when he keeps running north.
- In the morning he comes across an auto repair shop and tries to wash up with their hose, only to be startled by a mechanic. He reaches for his gun but the man is just trying to help. He offers Nacho a rag to clean up with and a set of coveralls, and refuses money when Nacho offers to pay him to use the shop phone. Nacho calls his father, saying he just wanted to hear his voice, and the older man knows something is wrong. He urges Nacho once more to turn himself in to make things right, and they say goodbye. Nacho hangs up and cries, then seems to make a decision. He calls Mike again.
- This time, Mike picks up. Nacho calls the older man out for sending him into this plan knowing he was meant to die and Mike, currently being held at gunpoint for refusing to bring Nacho's father to Gus as collateral, says it wasn't his call and hands the phone to Gus. Nacho threatens to turn himself over to the Cousins and tell the Salamancas everything, having realized that the only way Gus survives this mess is if the truth dies with him. He offers a deal: he's willing to feed the cartel whatever story Gus wants before he's killed, so long as he's promised his father's safety. Gus agrees, but Nacho wants to hear it from Mike, the only person he trusts. Mike assures him that anyone going after Manuel Varga will have to go through him, and they arrange for Nacho to be picked up and smuggled back to New Mexico. Nacho leaves his cash beside the phone as a thank you to the mechanic and sneaks away.
- When Nacho arrives at the chicken farm, Mike gives him clean clothes and a meal. The interrogation and execution will be tomorrow, and Nacho accepts this with composure. Victor enters and says Gus wants Nacho roughed up, which Nacho also accepts as this has to look real. Mike insists he'll handle it before Gus arrives and orders Victor to leave, then takes out a bottle of whiskey and sits to drink with Nacho.
- Mike beats him convincingly, and when Gus arrives Nacho receives his orders. He's to tell Bolsa that he's been working for someone in the Peruvian cartel named Alvarez, then act like he's trying to escape and Victor will shoot him to spare him being tortured by the Cousins. Nacho seems skeptical of this plan but agrees, trusting Mike to keep his end, and the older men leave him alone. He goes to put his glass down on the table and notices something in the trash.
- Nacho is transported by Gus and his henchmen to the meeting spot, stopping briefly to drop off Mike who has insisted he monitor the situation with a sniper rifle as insurance. As he exits the van, Nacho nods goodbye with an expression of trust and certainty. They continue on without him, and when Tyrus orders Nacho to turn around so they can zip tie his wrists, we catch a glimpse of something in Nacho's hand as he complies.
- At the meeting spot, Bolsa promises Nacho a "good death" if he admits who put him up to his betrayal. Nacho sticks to the story, but Hector has already heard from the not-at-all-dead Lalo that Gus was responsible for the hit and calls bullshit with his bell. To hold up his end of the deal, Nacho really has to sell it, so he does. He not only maintains the narrative, he rips into the Salamancas, saying he wishes he'd been the one to kill Lalo himself and admitting that he's responsible for Hector's stroke, that he'd switched the older man's pills in an attempt to kill him. Before anyone can react to his tirade he snaps the zip tie with the shard of glass he's been gripping in a now-bloody fist and grabs Bolsa's gun, holding him hostage while he gathers his courage... and puts the gun to his own head, smiling as he pulls the trigger.
