CANON UPDATE

Canon Update
Please use the following form below for all canon updates. They become effective immediately with characters waking up from a pleasant night's sleep with new memories and potentially a changed appearance. If they ask, the demons around them will probably play dumb about any changes or shoo them off. They have more important things to handle.

Please be aware there is no waiting period for an update. There is also no approval needed for canon updates. You are good to go after viewing the material and the update is posted here. We only ask you mark all spoilers for anyone who hasn't seen the material.

Marvel 616
Billy Kaplan
Canon: Marvel 616 [CRAU]
[personal profile] noassgardian
Player: Chi
Canon Point: Shortly after the events of Incoming!
Update Info: - He learned that Loki tricked him into summoning Mother .
- He tapped into actual Demiurge powers briefly to defeat the magical parasite
- He's now a young adult that officially lives on his own with his fiance, Teddy.
- Said fiance also had to leave to become the emperor of the Kree and Skrulls.
- He had a brief stint as a New Avenger, and of leading his own team.
- He was possessed by Moridun and now has a rather big issue with anything tentacle-related.
- He's grown increasingly bitter over being left behind by his friends and being on the Avengers reserves, no a proper team.
- He doesn't talk to the rest of the YA very often
- He saw Loki be eaten on live TV.
- He kept a robot under his and Teddy's mattress for a long time.
- He has a dependence/addiction to magic and trying to look into the future
- He's nervous about setting a wedding date or tying anyone down to all the crazy that is Billy Kaplan
- He's lapsed in his faith.
- He can legally purchase and drink alcohol now -- and seems to do so without much hesitation.
- He's still on the road to being future Sorcerer Supreme and eventually losing his humanity to becoming the Demiurge.
- He's on a secret team, hunting down fae spores that can replace people and seem to desire destroying the world.
- He seems oddly okay with killing them, actually. Maybe he just wants to get it wrapped up so he can go back home and live his life

DCTV
John Constantine
Canon: DCTV/Legends of Tomorrow
[personal profile] conjobs
Player: Scy
Canon Point: 5x05 Mortal Khanbat
Update Info: John sets the timeline back to damn Desmond to his fate after trying to go back in time to save Desmond fails spectacularly. He figures out Neron is possessing Desmond. With Nora's help he manages to separate Neron from Desmond, but he ends up possessing Ray. John goes to Hell to figure shit out. The Legends defeat Neron. Some DCTV Crossover Crazies happen. Season 5 starts with Legends facing down Encores and John drops dead in 5x05 when Astra accelerates his lung cancer and kills him.

- Rollercoaster ride with Desmond that ends in heartbreak. John is even more convinced that he shouldn't get involved in a relationship with anyone. Now more so than ever, John wants to be left alone.
- John has always been obsessed with the idea of saving Astra. It is his Westworld cornerstone memory, the start of his downward spiral, the major colossal fuckup that defines a lot of his character arc. Seeing what she's become in Hell and coming to grips with what his arrogance has done to her family will make him even more withdrawn. Did he mention he wants to be left alone?
- Maybe he'll cut back on the smoking. Just a little bit.
- Maybe not when he comes to the realisation that what happened to Astra wrecked the lives of so many people and it's all his fault. He has accomplished nothing with his life except to bring misery to all the people around him.
- Not being able to do anything about Astra or his current predicament once he arrives back in this version of Hell probably means he'll be hitting the whiskey bottle even harder than before.
- Not a canon point but more of a divergence from original source material. John will be more reliant on magic, a little bit more powerful but less manipulative/'scammy'/'con artist' as this seems to be the direction DC is taking him.

Teen Wolf
Stiles Stilinski
Canon: Teen Wolf [CRAU]
[personal profile] mensrea
Player: Ash
Canon Point: CRAU from Aefenglom
Update Info: (Mods have approved updating Stiles from OU to CRAU through the canon update form!)

Stiles has been in Aefenglom for eight months. He’s eighteen years old now. While he was undergoing a physical transformation to become an Arachne monster there, he will return to being human in Penance. Emotionally, Stiles was heavily weighed down from recent events from his canon point (s5be1): breaking up with his girlfriend, Malia; breaking up with his best friend, Scott; the near death of his father, Noah; and the accidental killing of Donovan in self-defense. The friendships he made in Aefenglom helped him slowly overcome most of these issues: he got over breaking up with Malia, finally explored his sexuality, and started dating another guy; he examined his previous friendship with Scott and began to realize that maybe Scott had never been a good friend to him; he learned about time relativity between dimensions and that his father was safe in a paused-like state while he was in Aefenglom; and he started to come to terms with Donovan’s death by confessing what happened to his two closest friends in Aefenglom. Stiles also got a job for the first time in his life at an adult store called Worse Dragon.

None of his sins will have changed – while his friends in Aefenglom reassured him that what happened with Donovan was in self-defense, Stiles knows that it felt good when Donovan died and doesn’t regret it; these feelings help blur the line for him about whether or not it was actually murder.

Stiles will be keeping his previous memories of Penance as well.

Canon: Dragon Age [CRAU]

Canon Point: end of DA2
Update Info: 3 years later, the situation in Kirkwal vis-a-vis political power and Mage Rights Mage Fights has deteriorated. To avoid the looming threat of genocide, his friend Anders tricks Garrett into helping him enact a plan to blow up the Chantry, the institution responsible for both the mages and their Templar oppressors. There's a battle in the streets, the big bad is defeated, then Hawke and his people leave the fucking city, just peace out mid riot.

Teddy Altman (Kaplan-Altman)
Canon: Marvel 616

Player: Churby
Canon Point: Post Empyre: Aftermath Avengers and Empyre: Fallout Fantastic Four
Update Info:
-Emperor Teddy brings the united Skrull-Kree Alliance fleet to Earth, aware that the Cotati are planning to kill all animal-based life in the universe
-Encounters the Fantastic Four who try and dissuade the Alliance from their course and suggest Teddy is being manipulated.
-Teddy out and out owns that it's likely but he still has to save the universe.
-Comes into conflict with the Avengers when the core team is tricked into siding with Quoi, the Cotati's Celestial Messiah.
-Part way into the Alliance attack on the Cotati's base in the Blue Area of the Moon, the Cotati turn on the Avengers
-Saves Ben Grimm from a Cotati bioweapon with a swing of his magical sword. People learn that it's magical energy can tell friend from foe.
-Teddy channels the energy of his blade through Captain Marvel to free his fleet from cotati attacks.
-Teddy deploys his military to Earth to fight the Cotati invasion there, especially in Wakanda where the Cotati want to plant a death bloom.
-Learns there is a Skrull planet killing device called the Pyre that would destroy the Sol system but save the universe. Refuses to use it.
-Declares Carol Danvers his Kree Accuser to investigate a potential threat to cohesion in the Empire while this is going on.
-Lets Tony Stark and Reed Richards go off to try and find solutions to the Cotati issue. Lends his sword to the Black Panther to stop the Cotati and their Death Bloom.
-Gets tricked/captured by Tanalth, who is actually his grandmother, former Empress R'klll in disguise.
-Finds himself rescued by Wiccan, the Human Torch, and Captain Marvel. The latter to had learned that Teddy and Billy were secret married and that wedding meant a magical bond so powerful that Billy can always find Teddy
-The four fight on the command bridge of the Alliance fleet while the Pyre powers up to detonate the sun. Teddy, in a suppressor mask, still goes head to head with his grandmother, and much of his royal guard seems vaguely confused
-A weapon of the Cotati on Earth attempts to divide the Alliance forces by protecting all the grief and pain of two genetically engineered and perfected child soldiers, starting fights in the ranks. Given Teddy has a Skrull suppressor mask on, his Skrull side is suppressed enough that he's not completely incapacitated by this.
-R'Klll admits she's not Teddy but will be a better ruler. The royal guard MOSTLY turns on her, freeing Teddy to send others on a mission to save the day
-Teddy sends Wiccan, the Human Torch, and Captain Marvel to the sun to try and keep it from exploding while, Earthside, Tony Stark comes up with a more long term solution and the battle in Wakanda turns against the non-cotati forces
-Teddy restrains his grandmother, defeating her and putting the suppression mask on her. He sends his royal guard to assist Billy and his team, and directs his forces planetside to assist in stopping the Cotati.
-T'Challa stops the Death Bloom with Teddy's sword, Billy's team stops the sun from exploding, Tony Stark counters the Pyre device and all is won.
-Post events Teddy grants guardianship of the Kree and Skrull genetically engineered children to Ben Grimm and his wife, finally giving them children.
-Destroys contracts with the Profitteer for weapons, noting that neither the Skrull Empire or the Kree Imperium still exist. Instead there is the Alliance, and it's emperor has not signed anything.
-Teddy and Billy have a second, formal Imperial wedding, declaring Emperor Theodore Kaplan-Altman wedded before all eyes to William Kaplan-Altman, Imperial Consort and Court Wizard. There is matching capes. It's nice.
-Wedding has some tension, but also their teams there being sappy.
-Teddy has a very harsh conversation with his grandmother, learning just how his mother died and all his grandmother had done. He leaves her as a prisoner.
-Still angry at Kl'rt he refuses to kill he Super Skrull for his crimes and instead orders the man into the diplomatic corps to try and make up for all the horror and death he's visited on the universe. Captain Glory is sent to mining pits at his own decision, noting he is only a weapon and will ever be one, there to wait until his Emperor needs him again.

Request for Teddy to return with his Starsword Excelsior. It's a magical blade that knows friend from foe, comes and goes when Teddy calls it, and can cut magically without leaving a physical mark if he so wills it. Is said to be the mark of the true king and to have been made from the blades of the first Kree and Skrull to ever fall in love and wed, the parents of the first Dorrek. It basically lives in his soul when he doesn't need it.

Wynonna Earp
Doc Holliday
Canon: Wynonna Earp
[personal profile] cowman
Player: Brandon
Canon Point: Season 4, Episode 6 "Holy War: Part 2", but before he and Wynonna go inside and witness Waverly's engagement.
Update Info:

| Doc enters the garden of Eden to save Waverly. In the course of doing so, they discover something has been being fed and kept prisoner. They free the original Eve who assumes the bodies of people Doc loves, including Wynonna's. Wynonna makes it into the Garden and Doc briefly fights her before realizing it is her. He, Waverly, and Wynonna make it back in one piece.
| Doc declares his love and trust in Wynonna before they discover that 13 months have passed in the world they know. After Wynonna is wrongfully arrested for murder, Doc does some investigating into the cause to find Mercedes and discovers a new demon bar. Here, he makes the acquaintance of Amon, a demon that is as beguiling as he is bedeviled. Amon flirts. Doc takes it.
| Everyone discovers that Wynonna did not murder someone, but that someone ended up becoming a symbiotic monster and is still alive. They save him.
| Doc strikes up a bargain with Amon (he blackmails him) in order to bring alcohol deliveries straight to him. Doc and Wynonna clash when he learns she's working for Black Badge again. What could turn into mutual distrust gives way to very flirty innuendo and Doc leaving her in handcuffs after she makes a childish point.
| Doc tracks her down when she escapes, learning that something is after her but unable to see it. She says shoot, he points and shoots, saving her life.
| Everyone learns about the Clantons, including Doc, a rival family to the Earp's and one led by an heir like Wynonna, but evil. This, including a trip to a local museum, drudges up memories of Wyatt Earp and makes Doc question his past motives - including just what kind of person Wyatt was. History is flawed and dishonest, like Wyatt. Doc shot first just on his orders. He makes it clear he couldn't shoot someone in the back.
| He even sits with the sheriff, one of the Clantons and takes what he says to heart.
| With Wynonna, they track down a bargaining chip to retrieve her gun toward sword, Peacemaker and it ends up being Rosita, Doc's onetime paramour and a betrayer of Wynonna.
| On his own, Doc parlays a deal with the sheriff to stop the rivalry once and for all. But, Wynonna shoots him in the back right in front of him and Waverly.
| Back at the home stead, Wynonna tries to justify what she's done, to explain that she and Doc are the same. They're both broken and damaged. But, Doc makes it clear that she chooses to be. He doesn't recognize her anymore.

Canon: Syfy's Wynonna Earp

Player: Katie
Canon Point: Season 4, Episode 6 "Holy War: Part 2", but before she and Doc go inside and witness Waverly's engagement.
Update Info:
• It’s Christmas!!! Wynonna and Waverly get the first Christmas in a long time with their mom. Doc tries to get Wynonna to take things to another level and instead she goes and fucks the hot fireman she just met.

• Wynonna and Nicole work together to try to win approval for Nicole running for sheriff. They end up at a revenant bar playing drinking games that Wynonna of course cheats at and chaos ensues. Wynonna’s mom leaves town but with a message: don’t trust Doc. It turns out Doc let his vampire ex-wife turn him. Wynonna gets angry and banishes him from the Homestead.

• Wynonna and the hot fireman, Charlie, try to go on a normal date when Doc attacks a friend. Wynonna confronts Kate and learns about how she and Doc met. She also, with Kate’s help, puts Constance Clootie out of her misery and figures out what Bulshar is after – entrance into the Garden of Eden.

• Wynonna gets trapped in the worst groundhog’s day ever and is stuck there with Doc and Bobo. Things get trippy and weird, and Bulshar manages to break Wynonna after killing her over and over again and making her think she’s going to cause all her loved one’s deaths. She gives him Peacemaker.

• A mysterious woman, Kevin, comes to test them and help them find a way to defeat Bulshar. It turns out Waverly is the hero of the story, not Wynonna, but to win she’ll have to sit in her father’s chair in Eden and become stone. Wynonna, understandably, does not like this.

• The revenants kidnap Wynonna, where she runs into Mercedes who has agreed to be one of Bulshar’s wives, but when Wynonna gets the revenants to rebel against Bulshar, Mercedes tags along, because she knows the winning side when she sees it.

• Wynonna learns Charlie is actually Julian, Waverly’s dad. Yeah, she’s been fucking Waverly’s dad. This is her life. And he gets killed. Welp. She drugs all her friends and ties Doc up with roped soaked in holy water. Wynonna and Waverly take on Bulshar, and they win, but not before Bulshar poisons Wynonna – which Doc sucks out of her. Oh, he also ended the curse during all of this, making all the revenants gone. Also Peacemaker was a bad ass sword for a moment. The Garden claims Waverly, Wynonna can’t go in after her, but Doc does, which leaves Wynonna alone. When she goes back to town everyone is missing but Randy Nedley who helps her with her promise to get them back.

• Wynonna and Nedley work together to try to find a way into the Garden, but Randy gets hurt and Wynonna leaves him with Mercedes. She finds Nicole, who is really mad her best friend for drugging her. They run into a teen, Rachel, who helps them find a way into the Garden, but only Wynonna can make it in. Wynonna convinces Waverly to come home. She and Doc have an epic kiss. They get back to Purgatory and eighteen months have passed???

• So people want Wynonna dead because they think she murdered Nedley. They were going to execute her, then they were going to give a trial, then she got roped into a Chilli Cook-Off For Freedom. She somehow wins even though like all her other cooking the chilli is probably vile. She gets tied up to be left for this monster to eat – but it turns out the monster is Nedley!! The others cure him from his parasites, free Wynonna, and live for Wynonna to be kidnapped again.

• Turns out Black Badge is back, and Jeremy works there again. But unlike the shady organization they were in the past, now they seem in over their heads. Wynonna is tailed by a monster only she can see, and one Doc’s pistols cannot kill. This is when we find out about the Clantons, the family Wyatt fought at the OK Corral and have an heir of their own, who seems hellbent on revenge.

• There is an attack on the Homestead so Doc and Wynonna decide it’s high time they get Peacemaker back. They get info on how to find it from the hot demon Doc’s been stealing liquor for. Wynonna ends up in the Sanctuary of the Scorned woman. It seems like Peacemaker rejects her. There’s a woman in a painting they want her to find – it ends up being Rosita, Doc’s ex and the woman who tried to sell Alice. Also a revenant who should not be alive??

• One of the reapers, the invisible monsters the Clantons control, is sent after Waverly because Nicole has been trying to take back a deal she made while everyone was in the Garden. They find a way to get Rosita back to the Sanctuary – where Wynonna and Rosita are sicced against one another. They fight for a while before escaping to look for Peacemaker. Wynonna gives a heroic but somewhat alarming speech and gets Peacemaker back. She kills the head nun who ends up being Medea. Rosita stays behind to be their new leader. When Wynonna gets to the Clanton Farm she finds Waverly upset and crying. After what happened to Nicole, and then Waverly – even if Waverly killed the Clanton leader – Wynonna is not taking any chances. Not to mention the new knowledge that Mam Clanton was the one who tried to buy Alice from Rosita. So even though Holt Clanton and Doc seem to make a truce, she shoots him in the back. Wynonna and Doc have a philosophical debate on the porch of the Homestead about it. Tears are shed. Words are said that can’t be taken back. And lines are drawn in the sand. And then she wakes up in Penance, missing the part where she would have gone back inside and seen Waverly get engaged.

Supernatural
Castiel
Canon: Supernatural
[personal profile] shownrespect
Player: Brandon
Canon Point: Season 15, Episode 13 "Destiny's Child"
Update Info:
✨ The boys track Jack down. Jack's found a dream walker named Kaia to help him find and retrieve Mary. Jack, Kaia, and the Winchesters all end up in other worlds, Jack with Mary in Apocalypse world and Kaia and the Winchesters in a world Kaia calls The Bad Place.
✨ In the meantime, Castiel is trapped in Hell courtesy of Asmodeus who calls the boys as Castiel so they won't worry and try and find him.
✨ (Not of consequence, but it must be said, Cas is sucked into an episode of Scooby Doo with the Winchesters. One of the best one-offs. He deadpans with Shaggy and Scooby)
✨ Cas brings Gabriel back with him, having discovered him captured. Cas also tries to recruit heaven in their efforts to cross worlds to get Jack and Mary back.
✨ With Gabriel's help, Cas and the Winchesters + Gabriel cross back into apocalypse world. Lucifer, captured for his grace, escapes and follows them in to try and reunite with his son, Jack. After everyone meets up, they rush back to the portal before the angels and Apocalypse Michael attack. Cas returns, too, along with Mary, and the Apocalypse worlders they can save. Sam makes a deadly decision, leaving Lucifer behind. Lucifer and Michael make a deal.
✨ Cas tries to talk Dean down from accepting Michael and fulfilling his destiny as the vessel in order to combat Lucifer, who absorbed his son, Jack's grace.
✨ After defeating Lucifer, Michael takes over Dean's body, going back on their arrangement, and disappears.
✨ Cas bonds with Mary and becomes more of a father to Jack while trying to help Sam find his missing brother.
✨ Dean is found and struggles post Michael.
✨ Jack falls ill without his grace and Cas reaches out to all his contacts, including a shady shaman. The shady shaman dicks him and everyone else over for personal reasons.
✨ Jack dies but the brothers and Castiel refuse to accept it. Castiel goes to heaven to get him back and the Winchesters bring back an old friend and trap Anubis. Jack will be brought back and held together with ancient Enochian magic that burns the soul when used. When The Empty invades heaven, Castiel promises himself to the Empty to spare Jack. The Empty promises to take him when he's supremely happy. Castiel hides this from Jack.
✨ Every time Jack uses his power, his soul is burned away slowly.
✨ Michael takes over Dean's body again and Castiel tries aiding in not only saving a town, but getting Dean back. A Reaper intervenes and saves everyone while Sam and Castiel go inside Dean's mind to help expel Michael. Dean traps Michael inside the lockup of the bar of his mind and it takes its' toll.
✨ Michael does break out and possess Rowena but Jack expels him, using his power and we learn... burns the rest of his soul off.
✨ Cas assists the boys on a case hunting down a cannibal and teams up with Jack because their target can't see them coming, being angels. He also continues to father Jack and worry about him. After witnessing Jack mercy kill a snake, Cas goes in search of answers about Jack, instead of looping in the Winchesters with his fears for Jack's soul.
✨ While on a case together, Cas and Sam encounter an idyllic, too perfect to be true town and Cas rescues Sam from being mind controlled by a corrupted mayor.
✨ Cas tracks down Sister Jo/a fellow angel, Annael and tries to get word out to God (Chuck) that they need his help.
✨ Nick, Lucifer's vessel, captures Mary and then goes after the brothers. Jack stops Lucifer from rising and taking Nick as a vessel and then defiles Nick's body and puts him through too much pain, horrifying Mary. Cas is upset they left him with Mary alone.
✨ Jack accidentally kills Mary.
✨ Dean tells Cas if they can't find their mother, he's dead to him. Mary can't be brought back and Jack is in the wind.
✨ Cas realizes Jack is with the Winchesters again but disagrees with keeping him in a box that traps archangels for good.
✨ When God returns, Cas is off reuniting with his son. Jack is still without a soul but still so lost. Dean comes to kill him and Cas tries to stop him. Sam rushes to stop him and God does the job instead. The boys and Cas realize Chuck's true agenda, that he has been pulling every string. Sam tries shooting Chuck with a god-made equalizer, that could've killed Jack, but it just makes twin wounds. Chuck, done with playing nice says this is the end, drops nighttime on everyone and opens the gates of hell.
✨ The boys, Cas, and a demon, Belphegor who's taken over Jack's body take cover in a mausoleum while hoards of the undead try to get in
✨ Belphegor saves them, but it's just the beginning of their trouble. They track down a cadre of returning ghosts to a local town. After saving a mother and her daughter and evacuating the rest of the town, everyone stays at a local high school to try and fix the situation.
✨ Castiel goes down to Hell with Belphegor to try and aid in a spell to trap all the souls that escaped. When he realizes Belphegor is just trying to absorb them himself and take over hell, he makes the decision to kill him to stop him, which causes Rowena to need to die as a failsafe.
✨ Castiel and Dean have their worst fight yet and Dean doesn't stop Castiel from leaving.
✨ Castiel fishes in a small town, taking time away, calling himself Clarence. He also discovers a case of his own and saves a mother's son from a Djinn.
✨ Castiel returns to the bunker in order to see if he can use Sam's twin bullet wound to get a lead on God. But, trying to probe it angelically, he stretches Sam's soul. Calling in the shady shaman, he's first double crossed and Sam gets worse. But, Cas shows his ruthlessness when he threatens the Shaman's daughter and the Shaman saves Sam.
✨ Sam, Castiel and Dean (who gives him a chilly reception) go to hell to try and find Michael to figure out God's biggest fear which might be a weakness. All three of their asses are kicked until Rowena, newly crowned queen of hell intervenes. While waiting for her demons to find him, Rowena tries to get Cas and Dean to talk through their issues, but they refuse. Back on Earth, Castiel calls Michael to him and then traps him in Holy Fire. Both Michael and his vessel, Adam, have their time with the Winchesters. Castiel convinces Michael that God was lying by sharing memories of how God has been, showing Michael that God is just a selfish writer.
✨ Dean and Cas go back to Purgatory to find a Leviathan blossom. A Leviathan leads them to what they need, but traps Castiel and knocks Dean out. In trying to search for Cas, Dean prays to Cas and apologizes for being so hardheaded. He finds Cas, who escaped Eve, and they get out of Purgatory in time. Dean apologizes for not stopping Castiel from leaving. Back at a casino where God has Sam and Eileen captured. They have a spell ready to hopefully weaken God, but Sam's lost hope due to a series of scenarios he witnesses from other Earth's.
✨ While Sam and Dean go off to turn their luck around, Cas receives a call from a sheriff who's spotted Jack. He tracks down Jack - who's been systematically killing of Gregori, warrior angels, and eating their hearts. He saves Jack. They embrace. He brings Jack back to the Winchesters.
✨ Everyone teams up to get Kaia back from the Bad Place when her Bad Place dream-walking counterpart confirms Kaia is still alive. To get around Billie, Cas helps a Reaper uphold the sigils that will hide Jack's use of his powers. They get Kaia back, who returns with Jody.
✨ Billie, Death, reveals her endgame, that Jack has to be strong enough and ready to defeat god. She next sends them on a quest to find the Occultum, something that will help Jack right his spirit. After the Winchesters are given the runaround in Hell, Cas has Jack empty just enough of his grace into a flask to travel to the Empty. Ruby knows where the Occultum is. The Empty tries keeping him there, but he returns. Everyone goes to a church that's guarded by Hell hounds. Moonlight directs them to a wooden plank in the floor. After swallowing the Occultum, Jack glows and disappears. The brothers and Cas worry as Hellhounds try and break down the doors, but Jack returns and smites them. He's regained his soul. The family is reunited! Cas worries because the soul must be overwhelming Jack. Jack apologizes for accidentally ending Mary's life.

Canon Point: 406: Holy War, Part II, just after Wynonna shoots Holt in the back.
Update Info:
  • Waverly’s been kidnapped to the Garden! It kinda sucks, but Doc’s there with her, so it could be worse. They start exploring around, and they run into a ex-Black Badge agent who seems like he’s lost his mind a little. It’s kinda worrisome. Especially when he cuts his own head off with pruning sheers when Waverly and Doc ask him about a means of escape.

  • Apparently you have to donate blood to keep an angelic security system going. They therefore donate their now headless friend to the cause. Waste not, want not after all.

  • They keep poking around until they run into a very naked person they believe is Nicole Haught, trapped inside a force field. The two of them get to work on trying to find a way out for her until it’s revealed that it’s not Nicole – it’s Eve! And Eve’s a shapeshifter! And then Eve escapes.

  • Doc and Waverly are trying to track down the shapeshifter (who happens to take Wynonna’s form at one point. They manage to skewer her to a door with the Pruning Shears of Decapitation, but in trying to find the right door, Waverly finds herself drawn instead to a stone throne where the angel in charge is supposed to sit to take up their post.

  • Waverly sits, and goes into angel mode, essentially taking the role the powers that be wanted her to take all along. At least until Wynonna shows up and gives her a Big Sister Pep TalkTM that snaps her out of it and brings her back to reality. She gets off the throne and the three of them try and make their escape back to Purgatory.

  • Waverly wakes up in a field, somewhere near the homestead. She makes her way back home where she sees Nicole, and they have a tearful, happy reunion sex. Then Nicole breaks the bad news to her: she hasn’t been gone a eighteen hours – she’s been gone eighteen months.

  • After all their amazing reunion sex, they find out that Wynonna has been arresting for murdering Nedley. Waverly puts on her best fake lawyer and makes her way down to the station to help out her sister, though the people in charge don’t seem to be playing by the rules. Wynonna gets put into the chili cook-off for freedom and Waverly tries to help but is thwarted by both her girlfriend and her sister because vegan chili is not going to win a chili cook-off. Frankly, Wynonna’s tastes worse than that but yet she still wins anyway? Wonders never cease.

  • The Clantons try to feed Wynonna to a monster as her reward – turns out the monster is Nedley! He wasn’t murdered after all! Waverly and crew put their monster skills to work in curing Nedley of his parasite problem and they all live happily ever after. Until the next problem comes to town.

  • Somewhere along the way she gets Jeremy back. Which is good because she needs her bestie for what’s coming next.

  • Turns out something is up with Nicole. She made a deal with the matriarch of the Clanton clan to try and get Waverly back from the Garden. Nicole’s tried to walk that deal back, however, and it’s lead to some crazy side effects, including Nicole barfing up frogs. The crew goes to some extremes to try and fix her – including transferring Nicole’s consciousness into a frog – until one of Ma Clanton’s reapers show up, trying to go after Waverly.

  • Nicole in ghost form tries to hold it off, but she’s getting weaker by the second, and the only way to get her back in her body is to deal with Ma Clanton and get her to call off the hit. Waverly goes to try and talk to her, hoping to come kind of agreement. The peace talks quickly go sideways and something Margo says provokes the angel in Waverly, prompting her to melt Margo’s brain.

  • After all is said and done, she has a moment of surprise, like she didn’t know what she’d done, but quickly backs out and goes to flee the Clanton lands. As she’s leaving, she runs into Wynonna and Doc, and Wynonna lets her know that whatever she did worked, and Nicole’s okay. Waverly is relieved, only to have Holt come out, out for blood because his mother was dead. Doc tries to talk Holt down, and see if they can come to some kind of agreement. Holt seems amendable to the situation, but as he turns his back to go inside with Doc, Wynonna shoots Holt in the back and kills him. And then it’s back to Hell for Waverly.

    Update Info:
    • Kisame's partner, Itachi, dies in combat. Itachi's death causes Kisame to ditch the Akatsuki temporarily.
    • Tobi tracks Kisame down and reveals that he is "Madara." Kisame realizes that Madara is calling the shots in the Akatsuki. Because of his loyalty to Madara, Kisame returns to the organization.
    • Kisame basically chills at Madara's side for a while. Hangs out at meetings, offers commentary, smiles ominously, etc. He acts as a trusted right-hand man.
    • A bunch of political stuff happens here that doesn't concern Kisame directly. The most important points concern two other Akatsuki members: Pain dies, and Konan leaves.
    • After Sasuke fails a mission (long story), Madara sends Kisame to track down Eight-Tails, one of the last remaining tailed beasts. While this is designed to look like a capture mission, Kisame's real mission is to infiltrate and gain intel on Kumogakure. In the meantime, Madara plans to declare war on the entire shinobi world.
    • Kisame tracks down and attacks Eight-Tails. He'll be pulled back to Hell towards the end of the fight.
    • Kisame will return to Hell fused with Samehada, effectively bringing his sword back with him. (I covered Samehada in Kisame's application, but please let me know if any additional info is needed!)

    Update Info:
✨ In order to distract Jack, Sam and Dean allow him to accompany Castiel on a hunt.
✨ The hunt deals with missing partitioners from a faith-based community church.
✨ Castiel and Jack play along when the local sheriff assumes Jack is green. After investigating the body, Castiel calls a Crossroads demon. But, with Rowena taking over hell, she keeps them out of the souls business.
✨ During a service, Jack declines to share and so Castiel does. He explains how, at one time he followed orders without question, always sticking to a plan - no matter how much pain he caused. When it all came crashing down, he didn't know what his purpose was. He says that becoming a father gave him his purpose and he rediscovered his faith in who he was.
✨ After a false lead, they learn the pastor's daughter is behind everything. She stabs Castiel and Castiel puts her to sleep before healing a woman's hands right in front of the pastor's eyes. He tells pastor Joe he is an angel.
✨ After driving back, Castiel tells Jack he knows he's carrying a burden and that he doesn't have to carry it alone. Jack tells Cas that the mission to kill Chuck is a suicide mission.
✨ He tells Dean that he has to leave again, but if anything happens there's something that Dean should know. (It's revealed later he told Dean about Jack.)
✨ When Castiel does return to the bunker, Dean and Jack are on their way to Santa Fe for the final piece to the puzzle to defeating Chuck (and killing Jack.) Castiel teams up with Sam to find another way.
✨ Sam and Castiel feel hopeless, until Sam remembers Sergei asking for the key to death. If they can find it, Sam can talk to Billie.
✨ They find the key and Sam travels into Death's library. But, instead of Billie, he finds dead reapers and a raging The Empty in the form of Meg. Billie won't even talk to the Empty. Sam discovers Billie's ultimate plan: to become God herself and restore everything to the way it should be. Sending people back who don't belong, kill anyone who's come back to life, including the Winchesters. She wants to restore balance once and for all.
✨ Amara has lured Chuck to the bunker and Cas tells Sam that when he returns from Billie's library.
✨ Dean and Jack arrive, Jack clutching himself and ready to explode but Sam tries to stop them, to implore them. Billie has an agenda and Dean needs to listen. Chuck reveals he engineered the whole thing, including Dean's rising rage. Dean pulls a gun on Sam. Dean then attacks Sam and they fight. Sam tries to reason with him. Dean would sacrifice everything to kill Chuck, but hesitates when Sam asks if he would kill his brother. Sam says there has to be another way.
✨ Chuck, bursts into the hallway. This isn't ending the way he wants. He claims that every other version of Castiel did what he was told, but this Castiel came off the line with a crack in his chassis like Naomi once said. They're all too broken to do what he wants and he's over all of them. He leaves saying they can have fun watching Jack die - who - still could explode at any second.
✨ Billie arrives and takes Jack to the Empty to explode before bringing him right back. But, when she says he needs to stay in her care, Dean grabs her scythe and slices her causing her to retreat to her library.
✨ When Charlie's almost girlfriend dissolves, the Winchesters pay her a visit. Outside, Castiel tells Jack he never needed absolution from any of them. They care about Jack because he's him, not because he fits into some grand design. Castiel also admits, that, like Jack, he is scared, too.
✨ When they realize Death is taking people back, the four of them rush to Eileen's to try and save her but Sam finds her keys and phone on the ground in front of her apartment.
✨ The group separates, Sam rounding up everyone from Apocalypse world and taking them to a warded silo with Jack and Dean and Castiel who decide to take the fight to Billie herself.
✨ In the Library, Billie reveals that it's Chuck, not her, wiping the planet clean. She also reveals that Dean's slice was fatal and her last wish is to kill Dean Winchester. She telekinetically sends Dean and Cas back who retreat back into the stacks and then the bunker.
✨ Dean and Cas run into the recesses of the bunker as Billie says that Dean is human disorder incarnate and she's always sought to destroy him. Taking refuge in their storage-torture room, Cas buys time by warding the door. It stops Billie's hold on Dean's heart.
✨ Dean blames himself, because he led the both of them into a dead end and they're both going to die.
✨ Castiel remembers that there is one entity that can kill death, one who's made his head a price. The Empty. He asked the Empty to save Jack and in return, the Empty promised to take Castiel when he is at his happiest experiencing his happiest moment.
✨ Castiel gives a heartfelt speech, first admitting to making that deal, and then realizing that happiness is not always in doing, but saying. It's in wanting. He then explains that Dean has always cared, more than anyone he's ever met. Dean always thought himself as daddy's blunt instrument, unloving and unlovable. But, Dean loves. And Dean taught Cas to love. He taught Cas about humanity. Dean is the most selfless, loving human being Cas will ever know. He tells Dean this is goodbye. Dean tells him not to to it. Cas then says, point blank, "I love you, Dean," confirming speculation that Dean is something he believes he can never have and that he's in love with his best friend. But, admitting that, saying that to Dean is what activates the Empty. The Empty takes him and Billie and sucks them in.

    Update Info:
  • Billie informs them that Jack needs to be fully powered in order to defeat Chuck/God. She sends Dean, Cas, Jack, and Sam on a quest to find the Occultum, the ‘missing piece’ that Jack needs in order to reach full strength.
  • Dean and Sam approach Sister Jo/Anael, an angel living/profiting on Earth, for help, and she promptly gives them the runaround, sending them to Hell as a means of screwing them over. Luckily, Cas, with Jack’s help, goes to the Empty to approach Ruby, who discloses the Occultum’s actual location.
  • Sam, Dean, Jack, and Cas all unite and head out to Ruby’s location – an old church – where they are promptly attacked by Hellhounds. Jack swallows the Occultum before any of the Winchesters or Cas can stop him; this restores Jack’s soul and enables him to smite all the Hellhounds.
  • Jack, with his soul fully restored, weeps and apologizes for killing Mary Winchester.
  • Dean, Sam, and Jack encounter a wood nymph by the name of Mrs. Butters in the Bunker; she reveals she’s been here since the Men of Letters days, helping to take care of them and the Bunker both.
  • Mrs. Butters proceeds to explain the history of the Bunker and reveals various secrets, such as the telescope, to Sam and Dean, before throwing herself into taking care of all of them, making them lunches, giving them purple sleeping robes, celebrating birthdays and holidays, etc.
  • She eventually reveals she just wants to go home and reunite with her family, and Sam, Dean, and Jack all help her do this.
  • Dean bakes Jack a cake for his birthday, a way for him to show that he is working on forgiving Jack.
  • Dean and Sam track down Amara while Castiel takes Jack out on a hunt.
  • Dean and Sam appeal to Amara for help in defeating Chuck/God, her brother. Later, Dean and Amara have a private conversation in which Amara reveals the reason why she brought back Mary in the first place: so Dean could understand that she was a real person, not just the idealized version from his toddler memories of her, and so that he could begin to let go of his toxic anger and make peace with his life.
  • Amara tells Dean and Sam that she’ll “think about” helping them.
  • When they return to the Bunker, they reunite with Jack and Cas; Cas takes Dean aside and reveals that Jack’s mission, the one Billie is preparing him for, is a suicide mission; in order to take out God, Jack will have to die.
  • Team Free Will 2.0 are at odds with how to proceed; Jack wants to continue, and Dean is on Jack’s side. Sam and Cas want to find another way.
  • Dean takes Jack out to Santa Fe for the last remaining piece of the puzzle in order for Jack to gain enough power to defeat Chuck; Sam and Cas seek out possible alternatives in Death/Billie’s library.
  • Dean and Jack encounter Adam (as in Adam and Eve) and his love, an angel by the name of Serafina, who tell Dean and Jack that they’ve been waiting for Jack for eons, wanting to take down God themselves.
  • Adam tests Jack; Jack passes by answering that “God is in everything.”
  • Serafina and Adam gift Jack with one of Adam’s ribs because it possesses the capability to create life, a powerful enough object that will help defeat Chuck. It will also turn Jack into a black hole, and, once it starts, it can’t be stopped.
  • Dean and Jack, on their way back to the Bunker, have a deep and meaningful conversation; Dean explains that he never meant for Jack to overhear him when he was talking disparagingly to Sam, and he thanks him for giving them the chance to live their lives free of God’s influence.
  • Jack absorbs Adam’s rib into himself, beginning the process of turning himself into a God bomb, essentially.
  • At the Bunker, Amara arrives, waiting for Chuck. She pleads with him that it’s not too late; that he can still put a stop to everything he sets in motion. Chuck tells her that Sam, Dean, Cas, and Jack won’t stop until they kill both of them, and ultimately convinces Amara to join him. She reaches out, takes his hand, and fuses with Chuck.
  • Sam and Cas, meanwhile, have discovered that Billie has engineered Jack defeating God so that she can put things back in order. When Dean and Jack arrive, Sam and Cas plead with Dean to stop this; that they can find another way.
  • Dean breaks down; he becomes like a caged animal, telling Sam that he will do anything to be free of Chuck. And he means anything; he pulls a gun on his own brother.
  • Sam begs Dean to listen; he tells Dean that Dean protecting him is the only thing he knows to be true. Between this, and looking back at Castiel for support, Dean eventually relents and puts down his gun.
  • Chuck then proceeds to throw a temper tantrum, yelling that they’re all too broken to fix, and promptly yeeting off elsewhere.
  • Sam, Dean, and Cas have to deal with Jack, who is on the verge of exploding and creating a black hole.
  • Billie arrives, and they try to explain to her that Chuck engineered the entire plan to kill him, even playing Billie in the process. Billie says she can help with Jack, which she promptly does by sending Jack into the Empty, where he explodes, presumably waking up every angel and demon sleeping in there.
  • Jack makes it out of the Empty, and Billie demands that he belongs with her; Dean steps forward and attacks Billie with her own scythe, mortally wounding her. Jack collapses, and Billie disappears.
  • Dean apologies to Sam for pulling a gun on him; Sam understands, and tells Dean he’s snapped him out of worse. They weigh their options; Sam is optimistic, and Dean is not.
  • Charlie and her girlfriend, Stevie, are having breakfast together when Stevie suddenly disappears; Charlie reaches out to Sam and Dean, and they realize that everyone who has ever been resurrected is starting to disappear. Sam realizes that Eileen is a target; Sam, Dean, Jack, and Cas all drive to Eileen’s place, Sam frantically texting her the entire time. By the time they reach Eileen’s place, they realize Eileen is gone.
  • Sam, grieving, communicates with Donna, and, through her, tells her to gather everyone to a safe space that he knows.
  • Dean, meanwhile, wants to stop Billie. Castiel agrees to go with him, and they return to the Bunker while Jack stays with Sam.
  • Dean and Cas come up with a plan to smoke Billie out; they make their way into Billie’s library, and split up, only to find Billie waiting for them. They attack, and Billie attacks back; she tells Dean that when he cut her earlier, he killed her, and, now? All she wants is to see Dean dead.
  • Dean and Cas make it back to the Bunker; Billie follows, squeezing her fist, and, immediately, Dean collapses, as Billie is attacking him directly in the heart, calling him “human disorder incarnate.”
  • Castiel leads Dean away from Billie, and makes a ward using his own blood to keep Billie out. Dean blames himself for this entire mess, believing that he’s only ever good for killing; he thinks that he and Cas should be with Sam and Jack.
  • Castiel tells Dean he knows how to stop Billie. Castiel reveals to Dean the deal he made last year with the Empty, how he traded his life for Jack’s, and that the Empty would come for him when he allowed himself to experience true happiness. Castiel tells Dean that he knows how Dean sees himself; he knows that he sees himself as “their enemies see him.” And he tells Dean that he is more than that; Dean is a being of pure love. Everything he does, he does in the name of love.
  • Castiel tells Dean that “happiness isn’t in the having; it’s in just being.” He then reveals to Dean that he is in love with him, and his moment of happiness is in getting to tell Dean that he is loved.
  • Dean is overwhelmed and stunned; he doesn’t know how to process what Cas tells him. But he does understand what Castiel is doing, and he pleads with him not to sacrifice himself. It’s too late: Billie breaks through the door, and the Empty, summoned by Castiel, arrives, consuming Castiel and Billie both.
  • Dean is left along, sobbing on the floor. Sam calls, and he completely ignores it.
  • Following this, the Earth is entirely empty, without people, as Chuck has “Thanos snapped” everyone but Sam, Dean, and Jack away.
  • Dean drives out to find Jack and Sam, explaining that Castiel has sacrificed himself to the Empty in order to stop Billie. He apologizes to Jack, knowing how close Jack and Castiel were.
  • They go to a bar, realizing that they’re all that’s left. Sam and Dean both feel like giving up; Jack tries to get them to see otherwise.
  • They confront Chuck on an empty street that night. Dean is so out of his mind with grief, he tells Chuck he will agree to his ‘one brother killing the other’ ending if he brings Castiel and everyone else back. (It’s important to note that he singles out Castiel here, specifically.)
  • Chuck tells them that he appreciates the white flag but he’s enjoying watching them suffer like this, and this ending is actually now his preferred story.
  • When they return to the Bunker, Dean proceeds to drink heavily, falling asleep on a pile of bottles. Jack lies on his bed and stares at the ceiling. Sam is left to wake Dean up, eventually, and then Jack tells them both that he senses a presence of someone else left alive.
  • They proceed to go to a gas station, where Dean finds a dog, and promptly names the dog Miracle, telling the dog that he’s the best thing that’s happened in the past few days. Naturally, because Dean can never have nice things, after Dean puts Miracle in the Impala, Miracle disappears, and Chuck waves from over in a field nearby.
  • Following this, Jack directs them to a church, where they encounter the archangel Michael, who explains that Adam is, once again, dead, and it’s only Michael left; he’s been avoiding using his powers to avoid drawing Chuck’s attention.
  • Michael goes with them back to the Bunker, where they still have Billie’s book about God’s death that Sam previously stole. They try and see if Michael can read it, but he can’t.
  • Dean receives a call that he believes to be Castiel, saying that he’s hurt and needs to be let into the Bunker. Dean literally leaps and runs up the stairs in order to do so, only to find out that it’s Lucifer instead.
  • Lucifer explains that he’s here to help them read the book so that they can use it on Chuck, saying that the Empty let him out because it’s so loud in there at the moment.
  • Lucifer kills a reaper, Betty, and Betty promptly becomes the new Death. She proceeds to read from the book, but Lucifer kills her again and takes the book, explaining that he was actually sent by God/Chuck in order to destroy the book.
  • Michael reappears and stabs Lucifer with an archangel blade, sending him back to the Empty once again.
  • Sam tries to translate the book using the Book of the Damned, and, eventually, Sam, Dean, Jack, and Michael all come up with a plan to finish Chuck off. The spell requires them all to be in a specific place at a specific time, so they all head out to set the plan in motion.
  • They cast the spell, and it seems to work, except Chuck appears, still whole, and reveals Michael told him everything before destroying Michael. Chuck then proceeds to beat the everliving shit out of both Sam and Dean, punching and kicking them bloody. But Dean and Sam refuse to stay down, enduring through the pain.
  • Chuck then tries to kill Jack, but he finds that he can’t. Jack grabs Chuck by the head and unleashes a force of divine power, forcing Chuck to the ground. Jack then proceeds to heal Sam and Dean’s injuries.
  • They reveal that they faked using the Death book as their main plan to cover up their real one: Jack, in the wake of exploding in the Empty, became a power vacuum; he absorbed power from plants, Michael, and Lucifer when they died, and when Chuck proceeded to beat the hell out of the Winchesters, Jack absorbed that too.
  • Chuck then asks if they’ll kill him, speaking directly to Dean, saying: “Dean Winchester: the ultimate killer.”
  • Dean, understanding and verbalizing the good and love Cas saw in him, tells Chuck no, “that’s not who we are; that’s not who I am.” Castiel’s love for the world through Dean is what ultimately enables Dean and Sam both to defeat God in the ultimate way: rendering him human, forced to endure life, wilting away to become forgotten by everyone.
  • Jack parts ways with Sam and Dean, telling them that Amara is with him and they are in harmony. Jack tells them that he will be in everything, everywhere, but he won’t write himself into the story the way Chuck did; he’s going to be hands off. Jack walks away and disappears; he ultimately restores everyone who disappears, after.
  • Dean and Sam return to the bunker, where Dean makes a toast to everyone they’ve lost along the way, and Sam points out that they’re finally free to write their own stories.
  • Dean proceeds to enjoy a bit of domestic life with Sam and Miracle, the dog he adopts once Jack restores the world and everyone in it. Dean cuddles with Miracle and lets him lick from his plate; they are obviously close, and Miracle is an important form of emotional support for Dean. Dean also applies for a job, implying he might be ready to at least partially leave hunting behind.
  • Dean ‘finds them a case,’ which leads them to a town with a pie eating contest, and he and Sam both proceed to eat pies, before Sam pies Dean right in the face. Dean also explains that he is trying to honor Cas and Jack by ensuring their sacrifices mean something; he’s trying to enjoy his life.
  • Dean investigates with Sam the next day after a local man and his wife are both murdered and their kids go missing. When they learn the husband’s body was drained of blood, they realize that they’re dealing with vampires. They check the information they receive with John’s journal, and realize that this latest murder is connected with a string of cases John Winchester worked previously.
  • Dean and Sam research and eventually capture one of the vampires involved; they get him to talk, and he leads them to the rest of his nest.
  • Dean and Sam arrive at the barn, the location of the nest, and manage to rescue the missing kids and get them to safety. Before they can get out themselves, though, the nest attacks.
  • Dean and Sam both manage to defeat a number of the vampires before they encounter Jenny, a vampire from their past, who explains that, while she isn’t in charge, she calls dibs on getting to feed on Dean. Sam decapitates her, and Dean engages with one of the remaining vampires, Sam taking the other ones.

[Major spoilers below! Highlight to read!]

  • Eventually, the vampire Dean is fighting forces Dean backwards and shoves him against a barn post, impaling Dean on a piece of rebar sticking out. Dean, in agony, still fights; he shoves and hits the vampire, distracting it long enough for Sam to kill it.
  • Dean knows immediately that he’s dying; Sam tries to go get the first aid kit, or to call 9-1-1, but Dean asks him to stay with him instead.
  • Dean tells Sam how proud he is of him; how much he admires him for never “putting up with any of dad’s crap.” He tells Sam how much he loves him, his “baby brother.” Sam asks him not to go, but Dean knows this is it for him; he asks Sam to tell him “it’s okay.” Sam does, telling Dean “you can go now.” Dean’s head falls against Sam’s, and then against his own chest; he dies.
  • Dean will be updated to this particular point, the moment of his death, but he won’t know that he gets to Heaven. He will have a distinct and ugly scar in his back from the point of entry of being impaled on the rebar.

Canon Point: During the last day of the six month hellscape that the Soul Memory throws them into.
    Update Info:

+ After recovering from a hangover, Nekane starts experiencing attacks throughout the day in the form of curses. Guessing someone is after them, Nekane turns to the Exorcists and their boss Legion for help. Legion agrees to provide Nekane information on whoever is attacking them in exchange for helping the group with a spirit.

+ Nekane also visits their family's old house after receiving a tip from an informant that the place is empty. Here Nekane runs into Delilah, their former Handler, and the corpses of every single member of the cult and the angels. They learn that the demonic "God" of their family has been fusing with other demons to gain their powers after observing how Nekane fused with Adomaitis. He also turned Adriel - Nekane's former self - into a martyr for the family to rally behind.

+ The subsequence rage-induced breakdown on Nekane's part results in a fight between Nekane and Delilah. Ultimately Nekane wins but is forced to kill Delilah when she refuses to back down after absorbing the bodies of the angels and humans left behind from the cult's mass suicide. Her last words are to tell Nekane she doesn't regret carving their eyes out and professes her love for them.

    - Shell shocked but still willing to move forward, Nekane goes to see what Legion wants. It turns out to be a simple dance to help the spirit rest but during the climax of the ritual, Nekane is possessed by something that uses their own shadow powers to start slaughtering everyone in the area. They're stopped by Legion and knocked out.

    - Once they wake up, Legion informs Nekane that it was another spirit that possessed them. Against Legion's better advice, Nekane goes looking for the spirit and comes face to face with something known as a Soul Memory - the ghost of the last remaining and strongest emotion that someone experienced when they died.

    - Unfortunately for Nekane, this Soul Memory in particular is Adriel's - and it's the lingering feeling of pure rage from the manner of their death. Unbeknown to Nekane they shared a mental link with the Soul Memory and they were made aware of all the blame that the detective constantly heaped at their feet for being captured and tortured by the cult.

    - The Soul Memory attacks and quickly overpowers Nekane, ripping the detective's wings off. But despite the pain they're in Nekane refuses to go back on their hatred towards Adriel and in a fit of rage, the Soul Memory tosses Nekane's mind into a hellscape based on their worst fears - trapped in the moment where their eyes were carved out but this time Nekane has no way of tearing their throat out or otherwise escaping.

    - Nekane will be coming back to Hell on the last day of the six months they've been trapped like this, seconds before being rescued by Amets. They'll be down their wings and a good chunk of their sanity, and will be spending a good while wondering if this isn't just more of the hellscape they were just in.

    MCU
    James Buchanan (Bucky) Barnes
    Canon: MCU
    [personal profile] endofcompliance
    Player: Jean
Canon Point: Post "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier"
    Update Info:
    - Series takes place about six months post Endgame
    - Bucky has two flashbacks that take place prior to the events of the series
    1. A scene from his days as the Winter Soldier where he kills Yori's Nakajima's son, RJ
    2. A scene from 6 years ago where Ayo proves to him Shuri's work has paid off to free him of the mind control Hydra programmed into him
    - Bucky is pardoned for his past, but part of that pardon is regular therapy he shows resentment for / He does come to appreciate his therapist more
    - Bucky is working through some of his trauma through mandated therapy and a list to make amends (he wrote in Steve's notebook)
    - However, his idea of making amends is by "friending" the father of one of his victims and tormenting people he helped get into places of power / He does get the list cleared out and comes clean to Yori about his son
    - Avoiding Sam's texts (when Sam could use some support, and he's just checking in on him)
    - Cut his hair and shaved off the beard
    - Sam and Bucky build up a friendship and get to know each other better
    - Bucky pushes his way into Sam's situation as he goes to complain to him about Sam giving up the shield and learns about possible super soldiers, The Flag Smashers, in Europe
    - Takes Sam to meet Isaiah Bradley (a black super soldier he ran into in Goyang)
    - Isaiah does mention Hydra took his blood which leads Bucky to surmise they might be able to get information from Zemo
    - Helps Zemo break out of prison when he think Zemo can get information for them in relation to the super soldier serum
    - Gives Sam a hard time about the shield without bothering to understand his position in that situation, or consider it from his point of view, while making the whole thing about him
    - They go with Zemo to Madripoor to get more information, and Bucky plays as the Winter Soldier for a bit
    - She ends this with a failsafe move that unlocks his Wakanda given bionic arm
    - Bucky turns that around by turning Zemo over to Ayo and the Dori later, rather than shoot him when he and Sam are done with (and Zemo had run off on them)
    - They run into Sharon in Madripoor who helps them out at times
    - They talk to Wilfred Nagel about his take on the super soldier serum, he made some under the Power Broker, but Karli and her Flag Smashers stole 20 vials of it
    - Zemo kills Nagel, taking out one of their leads
    - Ayo shows up to remind Bucky why Zemo was locked up, Bucky argues Zemo is just a means to an end and doesn't understand the betrayal it is to Ayo
    - Sam makes an attempt to talk to Karli, but John manipulates Bucky into letting him intervene by using his concern for Sam's well-being against him
    - The Dori Milaje show up as Walker is trying to talk to Sam and Bucky, to gather up Zemo, and John Walker says more than he should to Ayo and starts a fight (while all of this is going on Zemo sneaks away from all of them)
    - They both go up against John Walker after Lemar is killed, and John murders one of the Flag Smashers publicly for it
    - They get the shield back in that fight
    - Sam and Bucky finally come to an understanding as Bucky recognizes he didn't really understand Sam's position as a black man, and apologizing for that and making decisions for him and Sam offers him advice on how to really make up for his past deeds
    - The Flag Smashers plan an attack on the GRC as they make a vote on the future of displaced peoples from the blip and Walker shows up, as do Sharon, Sam and Bucky
    - Karli gets killed in the final showdown with the Flag Smashers and stopping her attempt to take out the GRC, as Sam embraces his role as Captain America and makes it his own, and Bucky supports him in full
    - Bucky rights some wrongs and tells Yori the truth
    - Bucky takes off the gloves he usually wears to hide his metal arm, and his jacket, and actually joins Sam in at a get together party in Louisiana

He also comes with a haircut, shave and his dog tags.

Canon Point: Season 4, Episode 12 "Old Souls" after Waverly asks him to be her best man
    Update Info:

🥃 on the outs with Wynonna, Doc is caught up in a cupid's mess that Waverly accidentally incites. he ends up falling for Cleo Clanton, giving her the pep talk she needs to take up her family's cause again. oops. additionally, he returns to Shorty's and ends up loving everyone there after being showered in cupid glitter. while in Wynonna's arms, their true feelings return. Wynonna doesn't want it to end. Doc needs to pull away, and he leaves.
🥃 by Halloween, Doc has made the Glory Hole his own, befriending the demons, and working under Amon officially. (also dressing as Freddie Mercury) but, Amon rigs a local legend with an online gameshow auction. the Earps are assigned a Black Badge assignment while in costume, and follow a local demon into the mysterious fog. when they emerge, they lose their memories. Doc encounters them just as the demons have been sent to Shorty's. Doc snarls at the demons, scaring the sisters, and he loses them. he finds the demon to convince him to help and by the time he returns, the girls have been scooped up by a lying Amon and dressed in different costumes, intent on Waverly being sacrificed. after Jeremy sneaks in, also in costume, he injects the Earps and they remember who they are. Doc is, of course, happy no one was sacrificed. Doc also kidnaps Amon and delivers him to the demons. Amon is most likely killed.
🥃 trivia night suddenly becomes the most important thing around, and this is because a genie has been trapped by a human being driven insane because he's become a cannibal. while Doc is at trivia night to catch the culprit, he and everyone else are magically stuck while the real culprit goes after Wynonna. after the wish is broken, Doc gives another pep talk, this time to Nicole, about her taking up the mantle of sheriff again. he looks on with pride as she steps up for the position.
🥃 while meeting with Doc, Waverly escapes two demons, but Doc and the demons are captured by Black Badge. inside the cell, he sees them heartlessly kill one of the demons because they already have one of their kind. Jeremy is also captured as well. Mercedes sneaks in, rescues him and Doc thinks shooting the panel will free everyone. it does not. they are recaptured and Mercedes is shot.
🥃 Doc has to hold in his vampire side while Mercedes bleeds out. he almost goes through Jeremy to drain her but he's talked down. the group agrees that they need the strength of two vampires to bend any bars. Doc turns Mercedes which is a big blow to her feminist cred. They escape, free everyone and Nicole joins in saving everyone. While Nicole evacuates the town back to Shorty's, Doc stays behind to finish the job of killing the remaining Black Badge soldiers. He hears a whisper in his mind and, without his consent, is made the Clanton's heir magically. Knowing what his destiny is now, he loads his gun with wooden bullets. He sees Waverly in full on angel mode. And he gives her the book she gave him that she took from the Garden.
🥃 Fully into the Clanton persona, Doc confronts Wynonna on Clanton land. they are trapped inside an arena-like area and he says they have no choice but to duel to the death. she fully refuses and even turns her back. Doc is unlike himself, he is a hatred. he makes a deal to not kill Rachel Valdez if Wynonna participates. when he does shoot, it ricochets off and back at him, mortally wounding him. Waverly comes upon them and agrees to heal him. She does and he says he feels different.
🥃 Under five blankets at Shorty's, and HUMAN now, the team is happy to have saved the day and happy that Waverly is back to normal. Doc is hot but Wynonna reminds him that he shouldn't say it out loud!
🥃 on the day of Nicole and Waverly's wedding, Wynonna runs up to his trailer, literally stuck inside her sister's wedding dress. she hides inside the trailer when Waverly drives up to deliver Wyatt Earp's saddle, and to ask Doc to be her best man. as she returns to the car, Doc is reminded to ask where she'd gotten her wedding dress, so he and Wynonna could investigate, and she drives off. now he knows the store is on Hogsback road.

    • No, seriously. For the sake of not tl;dr-ing spoilers all over this page, I'm just going to link the MCU wiki and wikipedia articles with series details and episode descriptions.
    • The non heavy spoiler-y version is there's a lot of time and reality shenanigans and she breaks a lot of shit (more so than she did in CACW or AOU ok), levels up, lets go, and is Trying To Figure Out Her New Reality.
    • After her canon shenanigans, she'll also be briefly back to her CRAU world for a few weeks (in IC time, not OOC time) to reach the end of her time there, since the game has closed as of mid-April 2021.

    NOTES:
    (01) She'll be coming in with the Darkhold and her upgraded Scarlet Witch outfit.
    (02) Hopefully adding back some powers to her set (question here).

    Update Info:
➳ He embarked with Maggie and their joint crew to try and take Meridian back from the people who'd slaughtered her settlement. Along the way he made disturbing and symbolic discoveries in the D.C. subway system before they tried to replenish their low supplies at a hidden cache and got ambushed by Pope's group (the Reapers).
➳ Separated from Maggie and the others in the attack when he went after an enemy, Daryl discovered that Leah and her family of survivors are the murderous group of enemies Maggie has been outrunning. Leah had him kidnapped and waterboarded and emprisoned, all in service of trying to break him so he would tell them where to find his people. With Frost's help, he managed to maintain the lie that he has no family left and Maggie and the others were strangers met on the road. He figured out quickly that using his connection with Leah to earn the trust of her people was the only option they had to fight back.
➳ After winning Leah over by being genuine about how much he still cares for her, she vouched for him and her people locked the two of them in the interrogation shed to either be burned alive or prove themselves in one of Pope's religious tests. They survived, only because of Daryl's quick thinking, and Daryl was formally inducted into the group. It didn't take long for Pope to show just how unstable he was when he murdered one of his own men for a suspicion.
➳ Daryl was again forced to prove himself by taking part in Frost's interrogation. Frost played along with the lie that the two of them didn't know one another and at Daryl's insistence (ie. he cut off a finger - it had to look real) he gave up the location of the house next to the safe house Maggie and the others were waiting at. Daryl was able to give them a warning before Leah and her people attacked, but when he tried to further stall the success of the mission, the tension started to worsen between him and. Even though Leah vouched for Daryl and diffused the moment, Carver plainly didn't trust him. Still, Daryl managed to stall them for long enough by antagonizing Carver to allow Maggie and the others to escape the house.
➳ After he and Leah went out on a scouting mission and found an isolated family, and once Leah not only decided to let them go but was also unable to mercy kill the dying mother, Daryl almost told her about his people and their plans before the radio interrupted him. His loyalty is almost divided at this point.
➳ Still, when Maggie and Negan attacked Meridian with their walker hoard, Daryl was ready and didn't hesitate in turning against Leah's group. It wasn't until the last moment, when Leah and her brother were about to fire the hwatcha down into the hoard, that Daryl decided he had to trust her - decided that he would rather try to trust her and put his family at risk, rather than hurt her. He told her about Maggie and his people, about their plan, and begged for her help to keep them alive. When Leah killed Pope for wanting to put the rest of her family at risk, Daryl thought he'd convinced her. But he hadn't. Helping Daryl would have meant her people's lives and she was never going to make that turn. She allowed him to escape the roof in the short term, radioed her people that he had killed Pope and was with the enemy, then she fired the hwatcha into the hoard once her people were clear.

    Update Info:
    - While part of their group went searching for badly-needed food, Carol stayed behind in Alexandria, ostensibly to help reinforce their failing walls against walkers.
    - Instead, she went searching for the group's lost horses, and with the help of Rosita, Magda and Kelly, who had followed her without her knowledge, managed to catch them and bring them back to Alexandria, where she and others slaughtered most them for food.
    - With Aaron and some others, she went to the abandoned community of Hilltop to scavenge needed tools and hunt for game. While there, they caught a small group of Whisperers (the group responsible for her son's death), and under Aaron's leadership, tortured and threatened one of them to try to get more information about other Whisperers in the area. Before Aaron could kill him, however, Carol stopped him, warning him not to make the same mistake she had, losing himself in revenge and potentially getting people he cared about hurt in the process. At Carol's urging, Aaron let the Whisperer go.
    - Carol offered the Whisperers some food and in an attempt to convince them that he and the other Whisperers had changed, he told them about one of the Alexandria group's people they had seen in the woods after the cave collapsed (when Connie and Magda had been trapped).
    - They returned to Alexandria, and while they were making plans to search for Connie, her sister Kelly took a horse and went out looking for her alone, where she found a notebook Connie had left. Carol and the others caught up to her and they followed Connie's notes to search for her. They discovered and rescued her and Virgil outside a house where they had been trapped by a family that had grown up feral, and brought them back to Alexandria.
    - Back in Alexandria, the wall finally fails during a storm and walkers get through. When Carol offers to lead a crew to repair the wall, Connie and Kelly volunteer to go with her. The episode ends without showing their return from fixing the wall.

Update Info: To avoid outright spoiling the whole movie, I'm going to simply link to the plot & synopsis wiki entries, as well as the events of the movie as well.

    - TL;DR version: In the wake of Mysterio outing him as Spider-Man and accusing him of murder, Peter breaks the multiverse with the help of Dr. Strange, deals with the fallout/consequences in the form of other villains from other universes showing up, and eventually attempts to fix his own mistakes by attempting a new spell.
    - He's getting updated to the very end of the movie, right from the final swing over Rockefeller Center during the Christmas/holiday season.

    - He will be receiving his new suit from the end of the movie, which will be replacing his upgraded suit from Far From Home that he initially arrived with in Hell.
    - He will be gaining additional sins, some of which are super spoiler-y, so I'm putting them behind spoiler tags, highlight to read or avoid as necessary:

  • Attempted murder
  • Violence
  • Nearly giving in to his own rage
  • Getting Aunt May Killed
  • Using Magic as a shortcut to fix his problems
  • Breaking his promise to Ned and MJ to make them remember him after having Strange cast a memory spell wiping their memories of Peter Parker
  • Putting Ned and MJ in danger; ruining their lives with his own mess
  • Using magic to wipe the memories of the entire world to clean up his mess

Before Sara Lance can propose to her girlfriend, Ava Sharpe, she is kidnapped by an alien, Kayla (Gary's actual boss/fiance, turns out he's an alien, and Sara runs into him on the alien ship, and he helps Sara, a little), who was hired by Bishop to turn over the strongest/best human specimens to. She escapes this, ends up on an alien planet, and taken anyway.

She also got to meet David Bowie and confide in him she was going to ask Ava to marry her, and he witnessed her abduction. There are some alien battles in space.

She meets Spartacus while abducted on Kayla's ship, and watches him try to fight only to be obliterated.

Not knowing what she was doing, Sara accidentally sent pods of aliens through time and space when she tried to fight Kayla on board the ship.

On the alien planet she meets Amelia Earhart, sort of. She's an alien, a Zaguron that poisons her. The poison works through her system making her weaker and sicker until it kills her. The last memory Sara has will be of passing out from the poison, shortly after meeting Bishop (the guy that wants to clone her).

Sara will wake up from dreaming about all of this with the ring she was going to propose to Ava with, a gold band with a hexagonal cut aquamarine colored gem.

    Update Info:
    - After Valentina gives her the job to assassinate Clint Barton, Yelena heads to New York.
    - She reads up on Clint (including more classified stuff, like his time as Ronan) and gathers intel on his new protege, Kate Bishop.
    - She fights Clint, Kate and Maya Lopez on a roof across from Maya’s apartment.
    - After she yeets herself off that roof, she goes to Kate's apartment to wait for her and makes some Mac and Cheese
    - Kate shows up sometime later and they talk for awhile.
    - She asks Kate about what tourist attractions she should check out because she’s never been to New York before.
    - Yelena reveals who she is and that she is going to kill Clint. They argue about it a bit, but in the end Kate can’t change Yelena's mind. She tells Kate to stay out of her way before she leaves the apartment.
    - Due to some things Kate said she looks into who hired her, and finds out it was Kate’s mother and texts her to let her know.
    - On Christmas Eve she shows up at the holiday party hosted by Eleanor Bishop intent on killing Clint.
    - Kate spots her and confronts her, and they fight while Yelena tries to get to Clint.
    - She honestly kind of likes Kate and doesn’t actually try to hurt her.
    - Once she gets away from Kate she lays in wait until Kate leaves Clint, then Yelena attacks him. She confronts him about Natasha’s death and attacks while he mostly defends.
    - Clint tries to explain that he didn’t kill Nat, she sacrificed herself. Yelena refuses to believe him and is about to kill him until he does the secret whistle that she and Nat used as kids.
    - Clint tells her Nat used to talk about her and this confirms to Yelena that Clint and Nat really did love each other and she decides to let him go, and leaves to think about things.
    - This is headcanon but I think she must also be very aware of the existence of Rogers the Musical now, because there were signs all over New York, ok, and she thinks it’s dumb.

Update Info: I'm spoilering this for those who aren't caught up! Also he's gonna have some new sins appearing on his list, I'll hop over there to add them.
    - After letting the mercenaries into Lalo's compound at his current canon point, Nacho runs through the night hearing the gunshots in the distance. At dawn he gets a call from Tyrus who tells him Lalo was killed in the siege (he wasn't) and Nacho needs to head north and stay hidden while in Salamanca territory. If he calls back in an hour they'll have a safehouse set up for him to lay low until extraction.
    - Nacho makes it to the location, a sketchy hotel where the woman behind the desk silently hands him a room key. Inside he finds an envelope with a gun, extra ammo, and a good amount of cash. Calling Tyrus to confirm he made it, he's told to change into the clothes in the closet and wait there until a farm truck arrives to pick him up in a few days' time. After hanging up Nacho tries to call Mike next, but he doesn't answer.
    - The next morning, a terrified Nacho hears footsteps outside. He takes cover and aims for the door, but after a quick knock the person leaves -- the motel owner has left food outside for him. As he watches the parking lot while eating, Nacho notices that there's a boarded-up shed nearby with an excellent view of his room. The air conditioner in one of the windows is dripping. Suspicious...
    - When the next day's food delivery comes, Nacho peeks out the curtains as he opens the door and spots movement between the boards on one of the shed windows facing him. He retrieves the tray as if he doesn't suspect anything, then kicks out the air conditioner on the back wall of his room and jumps down on the other side of the hotel to circle around behind the shed, entering and holding the lookout there at gunpoint. The man claims he doesn't know who hired him to watch Nacho, but fearing that Gus is double crossing him (which he's already done, planting evidence that will lead the cartel to this location) Nacho calls Tyrus and puts on a frantic act, saying he's got a bad feeling and wants to make run for it, then turning off his phone. Sure enough the lookout's phone starts ringing a few moments later, confirming the danger. Nacho knocks the lookout unconscious and prepares to flee.
    - While he's hot-wiring a pickup truck in the parking lot, the Cousins arrive with a team of cartel henchmen and they start searching for Nacho. Hiding in the truck's cab has him spotted quickly and Nacho is forced to kill that man, giving away his location. He does manage to escape a standoff with the Cousins in the pickup, but only because the Salamancas want him alive to question about the assault on Lalo's compound.
    - The truck is pretty damaged in his escape and breaks down on a dirt road out in the desert. At first Nacho seems to be preparing for the confrontation, but then he spots an abandoned oil tanker in the distance and runs for that, hiding inside. When the Cousins and their crew find his vehicle they spread out to investigate and they do check the tanker, but Nacho holds his breath and carefully submerges himself in the shallow pool of oil remaining inside, escaping detection. He stays put until nightfall, when he keeps running north.
    - In the morning he comes across an auto repair shop and tries to wash up with their hose, only to be startled by a mechanic. He reaches for his gun but the man is just trying to help. He offers Nacho a rag to clean up with and a set of coveralls, and refuses money when Nacho offers to pay him to use the shop phone. Nacho calls his father, saying he just wanted to hear his voice, and the older man knows something is wrong. He urges Nacho once more to turn himself in to make things right, and they say goodbye. Nacho hangs up and cries, then seems to make a decision. He calls Mike again.
    - This time, Mike picks up. Nacho calls the older man out for sending him into this plan knowing he was meant to die and Mike, currently being held at gunpoint for refusing to bring Nacho's father to Gus as collateral, says it wasn't his call and hands the phone to Gus. Nacho threatens to turn himself over to the Cousins and tell the Salamancas everything, having realized that the only way Gus survives this mess is if the truth dies with him. He offers a deal: he's willing to feed the cartel whatever story Gus wants before he's killed, so long as he's promised his father's safety. Gus agrees, but Nacho wants to hear it from Mike, the only person he trusts. Mike assures him that anyone going after Manuel Varga will have to go through him, and they arrange for Nacho to be picked up and smuggled back to New Mexico. Nacho leaves his cash beside the phone as a thank you to the mechanic and sneaks away.
    - When Nacho arrives at the chicken farm, Mike gives him clean clothes and a meal. The interrogation and execution will be tomorrow, and Nacho accepts this with composure. Victor enters and says Gus wants Nacho roughed up, which Nacho also accepts as this has to look real. Mike insists he'll handle it before Gus arrives and orders Victor to leave, then takes out a bottle of whiskey and sits to drink with Nacho.
    - Mike beats him convincingly, and when Gus arrives Nacho receives his orders. He's to tell Bolsa that he's been working for someone in the Peruvian cartel named Alvarez, then act like he's trying to escape and Victor will shoot him to spare him being tortured by the Cousins. Nacho seems skeptical of this plan but agrees, trusting Mike to keep his end, and the older men leave him alone. He goes to put his glass down on the table and notices something in the trash.
    - Nacho is transported by Gus and his henchmen to the meeting spot, stopping briefly to drop off Mike who has insisted he monitor the situation with a sniper rifle as insurance. As he exits the van, Nacho nods goodbye with an expression of trust and certainty. They continue on without him, and when Tyrus orders Nacho to turn around so they can zip tie his wrists, we catch a glimpse of something in Nacho's hand as he complies.
    - At the meeting spot, Bolsa promises Nacho a "good death" if he admits who put him up to his betrayal. Nacho sticks to the story, but Hector has already heard from the not-at-all-dead Lalo that Gus was responsible for the hit and calls bullshit with his bell. To hold up his end of the deal, Nacho really has to sell it, so he does. He not only maintains the narrative, he rips into the Salamancas, saying he wishes he'd been the one to kill Lalo himself and admitting that he's responsible for Hector's stroke, that he'd switched the older man's pills in an attempt to kill him. Before anyone can react to his tirade he snaps the zip tie with the shard of glass he's been gripping in a now-bloody fist and grabs Bolsa's gun, holding him hostage while he gathers his courage... and puts the gun to his own head, smiling as he pulls the trigger.

    The Witcher (Netflix)
    Yennefer of Vengerberg
    Canon: The Witcher (Netflix)
    [personal profile] bottle
    Player: Katie
Canon Point: End of season 2
    Update Info:
-Yennefer wakes up and she's a prisoner of war, held by her old schoolmate, Fringilla. They bicker and fight and eventually are captured by the elves.
-Yennefer has a sweet dream about her and Geralt having a child together but it's just a dream. Except Fringilla and Francesca also had dreams!! Shared dreams are powerful and this eventually leads them to running into Voleth Meir, or the Deathless Mother, in her hut. Fringilla and Francesca make deals, but Yennefer does not yet, even though she has lost her access to chaos.
-Yennefer searches for a cure for her condition until finally showing back up at Aretuza where she was believed to be dead. Her mentor/mother figure has no way to help her. Many of the other mages believe she is a traitor. She does get to have a gal pal hot springs scene but she also gets tortured. She was told to prove she wasn't a spy she had to kill Cahir -- but it was only going to vilify her more so fuck that she's going to let him free instead
=They end up in Oxenfurt where they find wanted posters of them. Not great. Yennefer also sees first hand how badly the elves are being treated and without her magic she can’t do anything. Also not great. But she finds out about the Sandpiper who is helping people get to Cintra. Spoiler: it’s Jaskier!!! She hugs him and freaks him out and they bond over being Geralt’s exes.
-Jaskier helps get her and Cahir on the boat and she and Jaskier have a lot of emotional intimacy as she tells him about losing her magic and then she hears him scream so she ditches the boat.
-Yennefer goes into rescue mode and after doing some searching she finds Jaskier being held captive by a fire mage. Or as she likes to call him, firefucker. Any case she pretends to be Jasper’s drunken wife and firefucker underestimates her and she spits alcohol in his face, forcing his fire back at his face and she and Jaskier use that opportunity to get away. They get approached by some assholes, she kicks them in the nuts, and then she gets captured and this where things start going to shit.
-Yennefer afraid she’s going to murdered or worse finally gives in and makes a deal with the Deathless Mother to get her magic back. She just needs to do one thing — bring the Deathless Mother Ciri — you know, Geralt’s child surprise.
-Yennefer ends up in Melitele’s Temple where she runs into Geralt by surprise. They kiss it’s romantic except Ciri walks in on them, Yennefer realizes her mark is his kid and well that ain’t good. Firefucker fucks shit up again and Yennefer teaches Ciri how to portal out of there and they get out, leaving a broken hearted and betrayed Geralt behind.
-Yennefer and Ciri travel towards Cintra together and Yennefer teaches her more magic. The more they spend time together the more Yennefer realizes she can’t sacrifice this child, actually, and tells Ciri to run. Ciri realizes Yennefer betrayed them, does a scream and fucks some shit up and guards come but so does Geralt and the dwarves and they save the day — and Geralt holds Yennefer at throat, forcing her to take him to the Deathless Mother’s hut. Except oops, she’s already escaped.
-Yennefer follows Geralt to Kaer Morhen where they find out Ciri is possessed. Geralt doesn’t want to let Yennefer help so she runs to awaken Jaskier to help her. She does as much as she can, determined to make things write. When they fight the Deathless Mother they realize to save Ciri, they need a vessel. Yennefer slits her wrists and offers herself as the vessel.
-Ciri portals herself, Yennefer and Geralt to the Deathless Mother’s sphere where she abandons Yennefer’s body and rejoins the Wild Hunt. Who also seem to want Ciri. Well, shit.
-When they get back to Kaer Morhen Yennefer has her magic back. Geralt doesn’t forgive her yet, but he does let her stay to be Ciri’s teacher. The two of them promise Ciri they’ll be by her side on her journey and that’s where things end for now.
